Top job! nice to see all the prep that goes into it before the final paint job it definitely pays off when you see the final result. I'm doing a horsebox conversion so when I'm ready I will definitely get you to have a look.
Thank you, I always try and show how much work goes into the job as much as I can. Horse box sounds interesting 😁 whenever you're ready just drop me a message bud, cheers 👍
Lovely job, I'd like this done to my van, would appreciate a quote mate and an estimate of when your available and how long it would take to do a LWB crafter 2016 in really good nick? Inc inside doors. Cheers!
Just had my T5 Raptor painted locally for my channel (video coming soon) but it was a bit disappointing to be honest, they used RC paint not the Raptor? mostly it turned out well, but the terrible prep work on door shuts, and missed inner panels means it's going back in for the 3rd time now to be sorted! not quite what I was hoping for, but I'm sure in the end it will turn out fine 😁
Sorry to hear you've not had the best experience but at least they are stepping up and sorting it out for you and not trying to fob you off I guess. Not heard of RC brand, did try a different one myself once on a panel as a test and found it to be inferior to raptor and it was the same price. All I ever use is raptor, it is the best in my opinion. Hope it all works out okay and I'll check out your video when you put it up, I'm curious now 😁
I honestly couldn't tell you mate but if you look for the comment from Paul Holmes he may tell you as it's his van. He's a good lad so should give you the info no prob 👍
Great Stuff! I really enjoyed this! I was wondering what your thoughts are on Raptor's epoxy primer? I am currently restoring an old Talbot Express that was in a terrible way when I first got it. I am posting videos on its process if you are interested? I am going to get rid of as much rust as possible, but obviously there will be some areas that quite badly pitted, I was thinking the Raptor epoxy would be a good option to help prevent the rust from coming back? Keep up the good work!
Hi, glad you enjoyed the video, thanks. Tbh I've never actually used Raptors epoxy but I believe it's supposed to be good. Sounds as though you've got a big project on your hands but it will be worth it when it's done. In regards to rust coming back I can tell you that unless you cut it out and replace the section that it will come back eventually. We always say in the bodywork game that the only guarantee we give against rust is we guarantee it will return lol. Depending on the severity of it depends on how long but treated correctly it should be good for a few years. I'll pop over to your channel and have a look, cheers 👍
@@roughtownraptors Thanks for the reply! Would you say if its not clean sheet metal, then cut it out? I have bought the Raptor Epoxy, hopefully it does a good job, going to do the colour in Glasurit 68 Line, I have heard good things about it!
Looks bloody lovely Shane. I bet the owner is well happy 👍
Cheers Gaz, yeah he was chuffed😁

Very nice job.Makes sense to do bodywork before conversion.
Thanks 👍it's always best if there's places you need to access like the runner etc.
New sub, nice to see a bog standard white van transformed into this. Great work 👍
Thank you 😊 it is nice seeing them turned into something cool 😁👍

Thank you, if you drop me an email at roughtownraptors@gmail.com then I can sort you a price out etc, cheers 👍
Fantastic job❤❤Any preferences to what filler to use, cheers DaveO 🍻
Thanks 🙏 personally I prefer onelite by sprint, it's a good versatile filler and leaves a nice finish, think it's around £24 off eBay for a 3l tin 👍
Cool!! Thank Brother 😊 🙏

Cool, I'll look out for it 👍
Any chance you know the tyre sizes for that crafter? Looks like they're Maxxis Bravo AT

I have just subscribed!
If it's really bad and can be cut out and replaced then yeah that is always the best option but otherwise just treat it as best you can mate 👍
Thank you 😊
Cracking job how long did this take you?
Thanks, jobs usually take around 2-3 week, depends how much damage I find lol👍
Wow didn’t realise the time you’ve got some cracking editing skills! Have you got an email which I can contact you on for a quote for a MWB crafter?
Thanks, I do try lol. You can drop me an email at roughtownraptors@gmail.com
Cheers 👍

Thank you, glad you like it, we're based in Greater Manchester. Hope things in Ukraine return to peace soon for you all! 🙏✌️
Lovin it 👍🏼
What’s the rough price of an XLWB van ?
I would like to know as well what ball park figure does it cost for a job like that.
Thanks, depending on the condition you'd be looking at somewhere around the 2.5k mark.
