I'm happy to see how well Maverick is doing with his swimming lessons. It was very emotional to watch. I found myself cheering him on.
My great-granddaughter is in her second session of ISR she is 10 months old. ❤ I'm so grateful her momma and daddy love her enough to do this. Thank you because they probably wouldn't know about it without your advocacy ❤

I’m so happy that you showcased this! I lost a child (not to water) & it’s the absolute most traumatizing thing ever. So do everything you can to protect your children.
It’s hard to watch him cry, but what would you have given to hear River cry, crying means life. Being unhappy for a little while is not that bad if it means surviving a potentially dangerous situation. It’s so amazing what he is capable off doing
I am continually impressed by the strength you display in doing this important but difficult training for your child. I hope that this type of training will become readily available for all parents. #YeeYee

Amber your strength through all of this is so awe inspiring…I’m not sure I could watch my child struggle especially after losing a child to drowning. But giving him the skills to survive is turning pain into strength. My heart breaks for u as a mother but the way you and Granger hold on to God and praise Him through this valley in your life is inspiring millions…. It’s pain with purpose. This is so important and I had never heard of this until you brought attention to it. Two infants or young ones died a week or so ago in a drowning near me. So sad. Every family should know about ISR. God Bless you.

Wow! Mavy is doing so well in his ISR! So incredible! He'll be swimming in no time! Glad Lincoln and London had so much fun with their friends! And yes, it is always hard to say goodbye! 😢 But happy that you will see them soon! 😀

I cried my eyes out. I have a 4 year old grandson that was born deaf with a very rare syndrome that affects his kidneys. Before Maverick was born my daughter lost twins. She has been through so much but is a amazing mother even though she struggles working as a teacher for kids with special needs and helping her son with his special needs and many dr appointments. I have struggled the last 3 years going back & forth to help take care of him and take him to dr appointment even though I don’t have a car GOD provides away. The part of this video when Maverick mom said “All Done” All Done really got me because that is my grandson favorite word and sign language when he doesn’t want to wear is cochlear lol. Love you all and no matter how rough life gets NEVER give up. ❤from Louisiana

My family were commercial fisherman and we learned to swim early because we were in a boat from the time we were infants.

I've had nightmares about my nephews and niece in water, long before you even started your channel. As a former firefighter, the second greatest threat to a life than fire is a pool. Our FD worked to educate and I still fear hearing about a child drowning. I can't even imagine your feelings Amber, going through this as Mav learns what he needs to know, but like you said, it could save their life. Mav is a trooper and I'm so glad your sharing this. May God continue to smile on all of you, I hope I can get a Meet'N'Greet ticket to meet Granger in August in Fort Worth, and after that, hopefully come hear him preach. You are all doing His work, showing love to the world while still spreading His word. God bless and good night.
My granddaughters have taken ISR. I cried watching them the first few times, but they were tears of joy that they could save themselves in an emergency. My daughter has become an advocate for this and brought some friends into it. Thank you for continuing to use your platform to get this message out. Nicole Hughes was a huge support for my daughter even though they have only talked online.
As someone who works with an infant survival swim lesson very similar to ISR I can attest to how important this is!! This is amazing!! I would recommend survival swim to EVERYONE it’s so worth it❤

Swimming is very importand and learning at a young age is one of the best thing a mom and dad can do for their kids. I can never know the lose of a child to what you have gone through. You are a very loving and caring mother.
My daughter is in ISR because of Riv and Mav! She passed her 12 week float test a few months ago and has been working on swim float swim now.

I've missed you all.... it's been a while. I can't believe how grown up Lincoln looks! It's just amazing watching these isr videos. I think it's wonderful the tools your giving mav to be safe in water. So excited I just saw that granger will be in Boston this summer a day b4 my bday! What a gift ❤
When I was a little older than London, I took my 3 younger sisters to the neighborhood pool. The youngest was just a year old and I put her in the wading pool. The bottom was curved at the wall and slippery. She lost her handhold on the side and slipped soundlessly under water. I was standing close by and will never forget her looking up at me from the bottom and smiling. I gave her a second then pulled her up because she couldn’t get her footing. It shook me to my core though because if I didn’t have eyes on her that moment when she went under, I would have wasted time scanning the area to see where she had walked off to.
*I had completed the Red Cross Jr Lifeguard certification level so my parents had no issues with me taking my sisters. And it was the ‘70’s. Lucky any of us survived.

Hey Amber can you do a short video just about ISR and what it’s about and stating that instructors are needed. This would be a great video to be able to share to Family and friend for more awareness, as well as, if anyone is a great swimmer, loves the water, maybe a lifeguard, does water sports and possibly would be interested in looking into this very important area, as littles are trained for water safety. It took my kiddo several refreshers before he looked forward to ISR lessons and smiled in the water. But it was so worth it.
Having a alarm on your pool that if a child falls in, It’ll sound the alarm off and you can hear it in the house. It’s a good idea to have if you have a swimming pool and you don’t have a gate with a child- proof lock on it.
I am just weeping!! I have always been a swimmer, taking lessons as a young child at a city pool. When it came to my son and how scared I was when my son went under and I was nearby to grab him. That was my clue to get swimming lessons for him. I did that, and when I watched, first lesson the instructor turned her back, distracted, and he went under. I screamed and jumped in myself. Needless to say, I did not trust her any further. He eventually learned how to swim. And he is 48 now. I am overjoyed you are doing this for Maverick.
