Hey Christian. Will you ever go back to the more backpacking/adventure stuff? I feel like a lot of people are kind of missing the old vlogs where the travelling felt so much more spontaneous and genuine with cool people and undiscovered places. I love the success you have and I'm super happy you're making it big nowadays working with other companies and such, extremely well deserved!
I just feel like alot of people are missing out on the Thailand/Philippines days where it was kinda of a living paycheck to paycheck exploring these places with locals and such...felt very genuine and almost like a travel/life/backpacking documentary/biography thing!
Anyway, big ups to you for making it this far with your channel and business, so cool to have seen this journey! :)
I understand you want to develop and make a good living, just wanted to share what I think a lot of people are feeling!
I agree with this. It's amazing to see how far Christian has come and that we get to be a part of his adventures, but I do too miss the old vlogs last year that feel more genuine and that the focus was indeed to travel and get lost. The solid proof is in the enormous number of subscribers he gained just by visiting Thailand and the Philippines in 2016, in my opinion - no fancy cameras and luxurious places, just a spontaneous and passionate guy who was going after his dream :)
I was thinking the same thing earlier today. It's much harder to relate to the 5 star resorts than it was in the earlier days. Still very cool to watch - this Thailand series just seems very repetitive compared to the old vlogs.

ah about to leave Bangkok in an hour. The scams are unreal. Fell for the "closed palace" scam too, even after being warned. The lightbulb went off in my head about 40 seconds into the ride and jumped out. My video on that coming soon

My wife and I actually planned our trip to Thailand based on your recommendations. We are there now and just flew up to Chiang Mai for Songkran. We have been following your videos and funny enough we were just at that rooftop bar by Wat Pho last night to watch the sunset. Laura Hello we have only just started to follow your posts and found them so helpful that we have been going over your older ones as well. We have noticed that Laura has been taken a more active roll in these latest editions and it really complements your coments which is great. Tonia says that Laura should make some comments when you do your reports on arriving at the Hotels about like things that are helpful such as if the hairdryers are powerful enough or if there is enough drying space in bathrooms she tells me these things would help with the woman's view. Noticed that you are lucky staying in the Novotel Group and agree with you they are fantastic we always stay with them as we try to get away every year now and your help on Thailand at the moment is great as we haven't been there since about 1990. anyway keep up the great work and thanks for your posts see ya Tonia and Bene

when i went last year my phone and laptop got stolen in thailand! it was so shitty so be careful

Don't just leave valuable sitting around. Carry them in secure luggage or pockets. Same I would do anywhere in the world
Pretty much anywhere you travel in the world it can happen, just have comment sense and always keep you valuable safely with you. I stayed one night in a hotel in Vietnam and had a pair of pants stolen, and once I was snorkeling in Mexico and left my shirt on shore and someone stole a couple of pesos out of my shirt, thankful they didn't take my shirt too, people can be desperate but in some cases I don't blame them, life can be pretty bad.
I love these vlogs! but I'm starting to feel like some of the stuff you recommend is a little out of the price range for travelling next year haha, but keep the awesome stuff coming!
