Welp, no beginner here. Just got one from SW and am blown away. No fret buzz or sprout or edges, intonated, action more than acceptable, tuning stability is excellent, finish perfect right out of the box. Pickups sound fantastic. Really fun to play. Well worth the $279.
And, this is my second Affinity tele. That one was perfect too.

Hey pal. Great playing. I am thinking of getting the affinity deluxe and due to your video, I have decided to pursue this. On a positive note, I would sincerely take out the audio clips, "he's trash, he cant play" etc. You play well and shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Peace and Love

I've got this one. It is a fantastic guitar. Get one if you are in the market for it. You will love it. For a real treat, pause it at about 5:00. That face is pretty priceless! :D

With two humbuckers etc. the lay out is pretty much an option for a LP - style guitar, but with the ruggedness of a bolt on neck and lighter weight.

Great job as always. It used to be the Classic Vibe series was consi..dered the best inexpensive bargain in Fender-land, but that crown has now moved to the Affinity line... but at $249 - $299, how much of a bargain is it, really? Old guys like us have to remember that everything goes up in price, but I'll admit I'm struggling with that a bit! But I am a fan of Squier and the Affinity line. To me, they're a good value still.
