Hi James, that was an excellent tribute especially, the montage at the end, it’s truly the end of an era and we will surely never see it’s like again, and for that I’m sad, but I’m also glad that I had the chance to drive one whilst I could.
I’m fortunate to have an FTYPE p450 coupe, it brings a smile to my face and is an experience to drive that other “better” cars simply don’t have. A slight tune to 600hp and this Ftype is a rocket ship.
@@BibTheBoulderTheOriginalOneit’s the same 5.0 supercharged engine as in the F Type R but jag detune it for the p450. The car should be totally fine with that output
Great video as always! I have driven a P450 75 Convertible (as seen on my pfp), and for a last edition, I was somewhat underwhelmed (as a Chequred Flag owner). I have a feeling Jaguar launched the ZP Edition to make up for the 75 not being distinct enough
I love everything this video such a great presentation. There is 1 thing bugging me, Stop fooling around in cars with the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car. I just cannot do left hand drive it does my head in. Being from the land down under (Australia which is RHD) I’m a bit of a novice & cannot get my head around LHD.
Unfortunately this legend died already in 2018 with the useless facelift but especially with the added GPF and the modified fuel injection strategy. At that point the cat lost it‘s teeth. I am so glad to have one from before.
Definitely the end of an era ! , although the F Type is showing it's age , i can see it being a future classic with prices for some models increasing over the long term , it might not have the latest tech or be as good to drive as a 911 , but it has a lot more soul , character and exclusivity with a striking exterior design that is not another endless facelift that looks much like the cheaper sports cars in the range and a soundtrack that will be missed when the nearest we will get to a V6 or V8 at full throttle is through the sound system of the upcoming electric Jags !.
If one is looking for a crappy sounding, boring, clinical sports car that is, in large part, a status car first...Yes, the 911 may be the favoured car...
I'm glad to find your new channel James. I used to watch your reviews back then in car buyer.
Ah, thank you! And thanks for finding me. Hope you enjoy the content

is the P450 possible to tune to 600hp?
@@trentox6713 What is the point in tuning it to 600bhp? Useless on anything other than a straight dry road.

Great review my friend.
Thank you very much.
OK, I’m gonna have to say Jaguar jaguar type 75 is car model 😊😊😊almost look like a P450

Jagaur goes "all-electric" aka "Jagaur commits suicide"
It's the ICE that makes the Jaguar the closest thing we can make that is alive.
Such a gorgeous car. Better than a 911 in every way (If you ask me)
I’ll be very very sad when the last one roles off the production line in 2024. ♥️💔
I wonder if they'll make an electric F-Type

Beautiful Car, lovely presentation, but sadly its demise was inevitable.
Why? It didn't have to be. Government telling us what we can drive is the real story.

Saying ‘The 911 is better’ - is like saying an ugly wife that can cook and iron is better than a beautiful one that can’t.

Heh but she is because she's more useful 😂. What??!!!
I will always treasure the beautiful one that can’t cook in the form of my V6. Thank u😂.

If you could choose, then Lexus LC 500 2024
Older shape is better. This new facelift not a huge fan. The front looks like a generic GTA 5 sports car 😂
Or a ford Mondeo
Jag eletric is like whisky with no alcool……dam bollore!
