I Believe toy collecting is an understatement this is art at it's finest it takes time patients creativity vision money Nothing short of a masterpiece and this is what I try to push to all collectors this is better than looking at a room full of paintings
I agree 100%! I’m pretty sure that some auction houses have placed certain vintage toys (Star Wars) in the “fine arts” category. So in essence they are becoming “art” even by professional standards.
I think the unknown lines are incredibly fun to collect. I’ve been getting into Starriors and Power Lords recently! But you are right, it’s not the best way to save money. Haha
37:55 That green monster's not from Stretch Armstrong, that's Krusher. I don't think he had a line, it was probably just a one-off toy. The gimmick is that you can scrunch him up into a ball, then you could make it air tight so he would hold his shape.

I have some childhood Visionaries Figures that I am adding to. Toy Conventions and flea markets are where I find my 80s toys.

@@sea-dawg You're thinking of Stretch Monster. Krusher was made by Mattel, Stretch Armstrong and Stretch Monster were made by Kenner.
I ate a lot of Reese's Pieces because of that E.T. movie.
I still eat a lot of Reese’s Pieces because of that movie. Haha
