Hi devs and fellow beaming drive players! I have just crossed 1000 hours played as of three days ago, the only game I’ve gotten 1000 hours on 😁 I only request a few things to be added to this amazing game to make it - amazinger 😂 more modern vehicles, especially a modern pickup truck, vehicles scratches and paint scratches from other vehicles, and a more in depth mud system so if you rev the car too high while in mud you’ll get stuck instead of going forward more, and mud and dirt and dust on the cars. Even as of now, this game is absolutely amazing! I love it! Thanks for so many good days beamng drive
Carl Hinton yeah there is some good mods but most aren’t very good or they are just car skins, I think it would be cool if they added in like a newer d-series and a new supercar
Love this game, my main gripe that would be awesome to see fixed would be tire simulation. I think the handling/weight transfer is already pretty good, but I think the driving feel could be greatly improved with better tire simulation calculations. I find I'm always losing traction instantly rather than progressively, and driving precisely can be difficult.
This is great, but there is still a big issue of part clipping and a lesser issue of part vibration (probably caused by incorrect dampening physic) and the mix of the two : part vibration caused by clipping. The part clipping is often due to the fact that the two part position get in between physic frames more travel distance than their contact location. A solution, though it is a little resources intensive, is to check for simple and really basic crossing trajectory of objects depending on their velocity and distance (a little like bullets collision algorithms but lighter as it only check for part close enough from each others), when two match, checking if their trajectory does really intersect, and then use a subtask to apply the collision for all the parts which do interfere before the main new physic frame. This basically will prevent parts clipping and objects at extreme speed to pass through each others, optimizations can be made, such as parallels parts or parts of a group (in case of a car made of many parts) would only require those additional checks if the car have deformation over a certain minimum margin.
As a car guy I can’t get enough of this game! It’s so realistic, the cars function like real cars, the physics are amazing, and the customizations are limitless. This is truly the best car game I’ve ever played. I’ve had it for a year and don’t regret it. This is the best 20$ game out there
I dont know how possible this is, but you guys should try making it so when there is a lot of sudden pressure on one specific part of the car, the polygons start multiplying, thus, creating a more detailed crash, without affecting the other parts of the vehicle. I dont know how optimizable this is, but it's worth giving it a try
@@cooperdobell548 they must have used some beast of a PC. Mine turns into an absolute potato if i spawn any more than 3 cars. Doesn't matter if slomo is on or not
As far as I know on Beamng if you have a decent/good and fairly modern processor (like an Intel i5 or i7 or AMD ryzen 5 or ryzen 7) you can run as many cars as CPU cores (or threads) you have with pretty good performance. The issues start when you go over that number, because after that point each car causes a much bigger dip in Fps than the previous ones. If you have a very fast processor tho, like 4.5Ghz and up, this dip gets small enough that you can run a couple more vehicles. In short: I can run 8 cars on my 4.9GHz i5 8600k 6core processor with decent performance. I couldn't run more than 4 cars on my old AMD 4.6ghz Fx8320 even if it had 8 cores because it was too old and slow.
By showing my latest BeamNG video to someone, and showing this, you most likely have a new fan and a potential customer. Such a great showcase, thank you, BeamNG!
Any updates coming out soon? It would be nice to see: - Oil and Fluid Leaks: When the engine is getting damaged or the radiator and the car stay stationary in one spot you could add oil/fluid leaks on the ground. - More particles on collisions: The collisions look kind of clean at this moment, usually during a collision, there is debris flying all over the place, mainly from brittle elements like glass or plastic. That would give a higher feeling of the impact.
We would like to see scratches and paint damage, where paint chips off to show bare metal underneath. Also, the fire and flames effect although nice to see in-game is just superficial, it doesn't actually do any damage. Fire should blacken up the metal and destroy the interior of a car that is ablaze. Could this be programmed into BeamNG.drive? It would add the extra immersion that continues to make this crash sim the greatest ever innovated. 💥💨👍
hundreds of tracing points in a single vehicle. Its a lot of detail must need high computer setup. It will also need realistic buildings system in the surrounding to clash with them. Not only the cars are working.

I'm planning on posting about this on the forum. Currently I'm thinking: 1. Heat affects tire grip 2. Heat affects tire pressure 3. Tread and compound both affect grip on different surfaces (currently, this isn't as detailed as it could be, for example studded tires have way more grip in all circumstances, not just in ice and snow) 4. Realistic ice/hydroplaning (currently, both surfaces just reduce grip by a fixed %) You have any ideas? This list could be a lot longer.

At somepoint can we get a better customisation layout and performance for BeamNG? Changing parts in the garage or out on tracks reloads the entire scenario which means previews for things like bodykits cant be seen and the Menus are very slow and unresponsive when selecting and scrolling through parts, i remember in need for speed u2 where it was fast and fluid, if there is a way you can workaround this and make it easier to customise cars more quicker i would be very thankful, i am very happy for the hardware accelerated UI as it does work but in the car configuration menu it is poor and would need some work, another topic i wanted to bring up was maybe teaming up with Red dot Games with their Car mechanic simulator 2018/19 (as you did with automation) as people can then drive their restored cars in BeamNG as the physics in CMS are bad, i think it would really help the games on both sides and satisfy the wants of registered vehicles in BeamNG that many have wanted in the game. Good luck on your development guys, you're doing a great job! (thumbs up if you agree so the devs can see)

Dude, ive gotten like 1300 hours on my account now XD
Carl Hinton yeah there is some good mods but most aren’t very good or they are just car skins, I think it would be cool if they added in like a newer d-series and a new supercar
Adam Goulart that’s awesome!
HI
Can't get enough of BeamNG, been with you all since Rigs of Rods and I'll be here for the next evolution :-)
Things I would like to see
-Online Multiplayers/ Split screen
-More pickup trucks
-more AI Options/ drag mode
-world destruction
-
Online multiplayer is basically impossible, but a similar thing to split screen already exists, it's called multiseat
Christ chris the thing with multi seat is I really hate the camrea and how it moves we just really need split screen at least

@@versa5864 I saw it before and my brain broke
oofie, he has i9 7980xe not i9 9900k
Me: I have important things to do
My brain: 2:43

As a car guy I can’t get enough of this game! It’s so realistic, the cars function like real cars, the physics are amazing, and the customizations are limitless. This is truly the best car game I’ve ever played. I’ve had it for a year and don’t regret it. This is the best 20$ game out there
I dont know how possible this is, but you guys should try making it so when there is a lot of sudden pressure on one specific part of the car, the polygons start multiplying, thus, creating a more detailed crash, without affecting the other parts of the vehicle. I dont know how optimizable this is, but it's worth giving it a try
2:44 I would love to have a PC that could handle this

Such a great showcase, thank you, BeamNG!
Any updates coming out soon?
It would be nice to see:
- Oil and Fluid Leaks: When the engine is getting damaged or the radiator and the car stay stationary in one spot you could add oil/fluid leaks on the ground.
- More particles on collisions: The collisions look kind of clean at this moment, usually during a collision, there is debris flying all over the place, mainly from brittle elements like glass or plastic. That would give a higher feeling of the impact.
0:20 simplified collision physics is on in that crash

Beam NG Drive is and remains my favorite game which I play very often
I just love this game

Do you guys plan on reworking tire physics? Such as heat affecting grip
I'm planning on posting about this on the forum. Currently I'm thinking:
1. Heat affects tire grip
2. Heat affects tire pressure
3. Tread and compound both affect grip on different surfaces (currently, this isn't as detailed as it could be, for example studded tires have way more grip in all circumstances, not just in ice and snow)
4. Realistic ice/hydroplaning (currently, both surfaces just reduce grip by a fixed %)
You have any ideas? This list could be a lot longer.
Tom Foolery gashing tires? Like affecting grip on a singular point in the tire or leaking down pressure
Oooh yes, like on a drag strip map you can burn the tires for few seconds to get the warm and then launch hard while they grip.
