A cardboard box is never just a box, a suitcase isn't just a suitcase, a garbage can is never just a garbage can, a walnut is never just a walnut ....your ingenuity is amazing to watch. Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Love these little books, because a piece of paper is never just a piece of paper 😊.
Outstandlingly fabulous! 😍 I am not sure why I geek out so much over miniatures but here I am. This was a stellar tutorial and I cannot wait to have some fun with your suggestions. Your little junk journal was amazing, as well! Today after doing some schoolwork, one of my grandkids (9 years old) said, "I like the way the paper feels after writing on it." My heart almost bursted with joy because I know how she feels.
Can't believe this ❤❤. I've been sitting her for three days just making miniature books. I prefer glued pages too. I use mod podge it dries in ten minutes. I've made twenty eight books. Just because I needed something to do. LoL. Love the video. Books look amazing. ❤❤❤
What fun! I have made miniature books before but never thought of making them with flaps and tags as you do a photo journal. I would be FASCINATED to explore the little add-ins on each page!
Soooooofantastic!!! I really loooove your idea of the box to store the books! Your books are soooooo amazing, thank you so very much for making this video!!!!
2:07 it's actually a Jaipuri Cotton Dupatta. It's usually made in Indian city Jaipur (Rajasthan). The patterns on it is through tie and dye process. It's bit see through as its usually used as decorative scarf. And helpful in summer heat to cover head and even face. Super comfortable. I am from India and I am glad it made it's way to you. Just makes me wonder, how small the world is indeed.
Oh my goodness, that’s so awesome! Thank you for taking the time to tell me. This scarf has done so much for me since I found it & I’ll be using up every last piece of it, no waste. How wonderful to know where it came from, I really appreciate the information ❤️
These books are really tiny works of art, especially with those beautiful covers! Thank you for breaking it down and making it into something that we can actually follow along with. I really appreciate the way you do these tutorials!
Love anything mini. Ive made a full sized book before, but I think your way of doing it is much simpler than how I went about it. They look amazing, and the ridges on the spines are just the icing on the cake. Such a neat detail to add in
This is a great tutorial 👌 Beautiful books ❤ I wonder if sealing the cover of the book with a mod podge or another gloss might make the covers look more like real book covers. And could also just give a variety of textures for different books on the shelves.😊
These tiny books are very sweet. I make regular size junk journals, but have never tried to make really small books. I do have a kit to make a 3"x3" Alice in Wonderland journal.😊🐱🐰❤
I loved this way of making miniature books, thank you for the great ideas It would be interesting to see your top 10 fav creations. I look forward to see what you make next 😄
I'm so glad I came to visit!🤗 I love this book technique!! They are just the type of books Im looking for and I love the idea of using fabric. Very realistic and so lovely, gosh, I haven't tea stained paper in a long long time. 🤩 I'm going to try this when I'm working on the bedroom, which will be very soon. I have a pair of bookends that I need to fill. I love the design the book covers made on the shelf❤ I'll be looking out for the next series. 🥰💖
I love love love this! I've tried sewing pages before but never glued pages. Do you think they might fall out after a while? Or are they pretty secure?
Nice books! Looking forward to seeing more. I'd also love to see what you've done on the inside of the tree that you made to stack. I'm in the process of making one, but ai have no idea how to divide up the space wgich is about 20" diam. On the inside. And there doesn't seem to be any references anywhere that I can use as inspiration. Please help!
I just found your page and am thrilled! Your methods are so easy to follow and I can’t wait to try making mini books using your instructions! Btw, can you share where you found your awl? Good tool to have. Thanks so much for sharing! Regards, Joan

Lovely
Hermoso!!
If you're a crafter and your cutting mat looks pristine, you're doing something wrong.
😂💯facts❤️
Could you please tell me what is that cutting tool you use at 10:05?
Looks like a box cutting knife
For a better view of it, I show it in the supplies list, timestamp in the pinned comment. It’s a box cutter (also known as) xacto knife 🙂
