Those caddy controls...they hurt my eyes

Caddy controls? Keep in mind the course is for total beginners, therefore the class uses basic default controls and UI.

I was referring to the updated caddy interface autodesk introduced with max 2013, or was it 2011?.(the connect/bridge/weld++ dialogs) it really clashes designwise with the rest of the ui, so much so that i cringe everytime i see it:-P. Sorry about the kindof random comment. You're doing great work with your videos

Oh, ha ha. Well, when I am doing my professional work, I definitely modify the UI dramatically, but unfortunately the caddy controls are still there. Can't say that I am a huge fan of a lot of the "upgrades" Autodesk does. This year they changed the way all the buttons looks, which mostly just makes it so I can't find things as fast anymore. Thanks for watching.

Cheers. By default yes, not sure if you know but you can get the legacy dialogs back by unchecking the "use caddy controls" option under preferences->general.

I didn't. Thanks. They've honestly never bothered me much, but now that you've pointed it out....
