@@terryosborne272 sure you can. You tune the car to dump fuel into the system when you let off the gas. It hits the hot exhaust and explodes creating the loud pops. It can be very damaging to the car in the long run. If you listen in the video he said they tuned it many times to get it just the way he wanted. I'm sure one of the things he wanted was obnoxious pops and bangs.
@@FMSLO I can tell you right now, even the owner doesnt drive it like this all the time. I owned a C63 that crackled and popped a ton, sure, its nice, but after like an hour or so, it becomes kind of annoying. Like everything in life, Moderation is key.

This man obviously understands how important a car's sound is. Electric cars are so sad in that respect. I am not surprised it took a year to get the sound just the way he liked it. I spent longer than that to get my carbureted engine to make similar pops...very difficult without electronic "modes", & using a much more imprecise fuel metering system, & no way to tune or map with a computer. Parking in the clean air slot was the cherry on the sundae! The man has my respect.
reminds me of back in the day when I used to have a coke can on the back wheel of my bike. the car sounds like it just wrecked into 100 aluminum trash cans when its cruseing at 30mph
