    Informative video. Sir, what will be the scope of Embedded Systems and IoT jobs in India as compared to VLSI domain?

    Hii bro...
    I'm placed in FPGA and asic development company as a fresher with 15k per month
    And also placed in software company with 30k per month
    I'm confused to which one to choose for my better work balance and great life spending with family in future along with salary.
    Can you please give me clarity bro..

      Hi Chandu, in VLSI domain, initial package is less when you start your career from a service based company. But after 2+ yrs of exp you will have lot of opportunities and package will be way more than what you will earn in software domain.

      @@chandureddy4891 Work pressure is subjective in nature. It depends on company/team you are part of. At present, you should choose a domain based on your interest rather than work life balance.

      Go with interest, dont see money for next 2 years... Keep on working on your skills , try to know why you are doing this what has been assigned to.. talk with team mates,try to learn what they are doing ...

    Hi rajdeep,
    Can you explain about onsite opportunities in vlsi?
    Is there anyway a person can do vlsi job abroad, without masters in the US?

    • @whyRD
      @whyRD  2 года назад

      Yes for sure,, but for a particular mnc having design centers in India mostly they recruit for India and you need to gain experience to get abroad for visa requirements. But for example tsmc you can directly get placed in taiwan.... In our part 3 we have discussed this option

    I am going for masters in usa. In front end comparch. For front end vlsi iam 100% sure that USA is better than India. It is like comparing night and day. Why u may ask ? All the CPU, GPU, hardware security roles are in usa. In India u only work on protocols and services mostly. I am not talking about rare scenarios . Computer architecture related roles presence is less in India.

    • @whyRD
      @whyRD  2 года назад

      I am not agree with you , in us you have a little higher opportunity, but India hosts the 2nd largest design house of many semi gaints .

      @@whyRD quantity is not important, quality of the jobs is important. I can answer in detail after get into a job.A front end engineer in apple only told me. He has like 15 years exp works in us. For backend India is good as u say. But I am talking about front end

      @@whyRD And if so can you say why maven silicon like institutes don't train u on comp arch related stuff ? They only teach protocols. Recently they have added risc v, but like few months ago. In India front end jobs they are not focused on comparch that much as usa.

    • @whyRD
      @whyRD  2 года назад

      Without a master and good college brand ,getting a direct entry to premium design group is tough, so probably mavean playing safe , as most of maven student don't have masters or if they have not from top tier... In India opportunity are growing like anything, but if want a comp architecture or direct entry to cutting edge design you need to get the experience first in fc integration , verification or validation.. and same is the case in US , it's rare that direct after MS you would be assigned to design premium product , you for sure will do patch design in initial years.

      Better is going for job, hope it don't have a huge bond period . And you still have a chance to write gate again before joining job right ? So if you get a old IIT seat or other better seats go for mtech
