I wanted long hair my whole life and I decided to grow it out. My family was totally against it but I didn't care. My mom was yelling at me every day to go and cut my hair but I didn't. Then one day she told me it's starting to look good 😁
For me it was depression.. I was also overweight, and insecure about everything, and had poor social skills. I really hated the way I looked, and wanted to change something. Then I stumbled upon a series of hair growth timelapse, which had led me to your channel. I digged the half up - half down hairstyle of some japanese manga character, and decided to go for that same lenght. Growing long hair made me excited for the future, It gave me (I'm not exaggerating) a reason to live. So 2 months in, I decided that while I'm letting it grow, I'll be fixing my life however the fuck I can, cause I was the only person responsible for all the shit that I was going through. My first goal was to shred as much weight as I could. I just had to dump all the soda and sweets, and considering the fact that I already had close to zero will to go on living, eating only when I had to was more than easy. In the meanwhile, my hair got long enough to slick it back. That was 5 months ago. Actually, I'm lying, I totally lost the track of time, rn it's sitting at around 5 inches, and it comes down to the tip of my nose. Ive really changed for good in those 7-10 months, I even got called "hot" a few times. Ive already started working on my second goal, and that is to socialize with people, I rarely ever talk, and I mumble a lot, so I look forward to fixing it. I live in a shit hole, so I can only socialise with people while I'm at school, or while surfing the net. The 3rd, and final goal is to get fit. My stamina is trash. Laying in bed for the past few years didn't do me any good. I already look buff, so gaining more muscle mass shouldn't be a problem. We are moving to a different town some time in the future, so I'll finally be able to live a "normal" life, spring is pretty close too, I'll be able to go outside and work on everything from my pale looking skin, to muscles. Depression comes and goes, which is to be expected, but I'm finally starting to gain confidence, which is a big thing for me. I might still have a chance to recover from all the wasted years of my live since I'm only 16. Annnnd yeeaaah, Thomas... Keep doing what you're doing, you kinda saved my live by showing me this wondrous world of long hair. It gave me the motivation I needed for doing something positive in my life for once, I really appreciate your work, just keep on rocking mate! My English might be a bit confusing, but that's cause it's self taught, so dont judge 🙃
@@Retetionretention I was on nf for about 3 months, and the results were the polar oposite of what I wanted, it made me feel horny and stressed out 80% of the time, and just pushed me deeper into depression.. But thanks anyway, I really appreciate your reply!
I get about 4 Jesus' a week. Small price to pay lol. My reason for growing mine out was basically why Forrest Gump started running....I just woke up one day and was like "yeah I want long hair" That was a few years ago and still going strong.
@Shaise Kindering Get yourself a wet brush from like target. Wet is the brand name. They're God sends. Then condition everyday. Shampoo every 3 days or so.
That's why I'm growing out my hair I think long hair looks Amazing on anyone. I use to get super frustrated with my hair. But now I'm doing alot of meditation and exercising. And my body, skin, and hair looks great.
I've decided to grow my hair out this time because i've had a long hair about 2 years ago and i loved it. That's the reason i started the journey again.
Used to have long hair, but right now I’m growing my hair out to donate. There are other factors, such as doing something to get this one girl to notice me lol. But mostly, I want to donate. Didn’t get the chance to donate last time I had long hair the way I began cutting it down. Loved this video! Also, your hair looks amazing in this video!
I’m just starting to grow out my hair ( as of one month ago so it’s still very short) in order to finally control my self. I’ve always been told what to do by sibling or by my parents. This is just the start to regaining my autonomy. I’m glad to hear that I’m not the only one going through this. Can’t wait to be a part of the “Lon Pride”!
I’ve always just thought long hair was badass since I can remember. I like all the options you have too and I’ve always been the rocker of my family 🤘🏻
I wish I, as a girl, could get into this group ... I had very short hair for years now and I am finally letting them grow out, but it is so damn hard! There is nothing like this group for girls, because everybody thinks, that it is easier for us. Thank you for keeping me sane on this awful journey! :D
Your hair looks amazing papi! I’m 8 months in and pretty much done with that awkward stage but still watch your vids monthly for that extra motivation for the man bun 😂
Growing up I had long blonde hair down to just past my shoulders. I then had to cut my hair for the first time in years after being cast in a professional musical where the role called for me to have short hair. I've grown my hair out a couple of times since then however I have never made it back to its original length. Looking forward to getting back to that length whilst working in the corporate world.
Just a random girl casually passing by cuz I love guys with long hair. You go guys! You have my support. All of you look super badass and if this one secret will make you feel great ...you are an eye candy 🤭🤭🤭🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I worked as a manager for ups for several years and didn't have the option for long hair or facial hair. I now work at a bar and can do what I like with my appearance. Started growing about a year and a half ago and I really fell in love with it. Plus my friend offered me money whenever it touches my hip so maybe a little bonus there.
chris.hincapi it seems more daunting at the start. Just try persevere and it will grow without you even noticing. If you want to notice the progress more check the length once then don’t check for another month
Great video! I definitely could relate to a lot of these comments. I'm 31 and had short hair for most of my life. In December 2017 I decided to grow it out to try something new and learn more about myself. My hair is curly, so it takes a while to grow. Right now it's almost hitting shoulder length but I'm going for chest length. It might look good, it might look bad... I don't care. I'd rather have something unique than beautiful but boring hair.
I'm at 11 month from growing out my hair from undercut next month will be a year and literally I can't believe I made it and achieved the style I was dreaming about started growing the top at december 2018 and trim it in august 2019 to blend it with the sides, It takes time a lot of patience you gotta be brave and believe me you will look more better once your hair pass your ear and reach the chin.
So when i was like 8 years old, i grew my hair to shoulder length, then i cut my hair at 13 because i wanted to have a "cool haircut" like others (basically a short undercut). I didn't regret it but i knew that one day im gonna grow my hair long once again, i just didn't know when this time will come. Im 16 now, i watched Vikings on netflix 5 months ago, this became my favourite show and i decided to grow my hair in a lowered undercut, so im 5 months into hair growth, still going strong:) i also want to become a hairdresser!
fokus FORCE Dude you are so lucky When i grow up my hair when i was 13 and i was cool but yeah i have made an undercut that runied everything and it b Looked bad Than i tried growing it up in the past but everyone make fun of me so i shave it and regret it so badly and i begane faling Now i am growing it again
@@erenyeager8147 if you want long hair just grow them out, it doesn't matter what other people think. Honestly the will respect you even more because you are doing what you want and don't care about other's opinions
I had an undercut for like 2 years, and just in the past year I had my bangs go all the way to my jawline. I liked the man bun style, but I was getting bored of the undercut look, and my parents said I should cut it and I did get it cut. I regret it a little bit now, but so far I’m almost a month into my journey and my top is a little over 3 inches, and my sides are a centimeter. I’m glad I’ve decided to try something new now, and you have inspired me to grow it out!!
i actually was really insecure of my hair, the texture and everything about it so when i start loving my hair i thought ¿why i should start growing my hair? so i start letting grown, now i have like almost 10 or 9 months, and my hair is weavy Thank you Thomas, you are such a inspiration
I went a couple of months without a hair cut and my oldest sister ordered me to get a hair cut of she'd hold me down and take a pair of scissors and cut it herself. To which I replied "that I want to see". 7 months later she hasn't dared to try to cut it and I'm liking how it looks. NOT STOPPING NOW!!!!!!
Long story short; I'm a pretty feminine dude, so I like the feeling of long hair (I've heard that's kinda rare, and that most guys do it just for looks). The longest my hair got was 3 years (pretty long, a lil past shoulders). I had to cut it for reasons, now I know I can keep it and I know a couple tips on the best way to grow healthier hair. I'm at month 6 and can't wait for it to get back to at least Keanu Reeves length. 😎 I found this channel about 2 months into growing my hair for the second time, love the content, thank you all for the inspiration.😊👍
I started to grow my hair out just to see how hard is the awkward phase and to be honest I'm in my sixth month now and i haven't looked bad for a single day. So I will take it seriously for now on and i will go for longer and longer.
First off, love your channel, second I 'subed' right away! And yeah, love my long hair...I couldn't afford the 'hair-cut' place back in 2017 anymore so stopped then and it's long now. I can't see myself without it now, love it so much sooo I'm thinking it's here to stay. I'm forty this year...so I'm hoping it REALLY does stay lol! 😅🤣😂🥳
For me, my 'growing hair' journey began in response to a strong urge to break out of the conventional corporate physical outlook which always favored short undercut with a clean shaven look as the classic 'gentleman' look throughout the history. But after witnessing a recent trend in the silent revolution of breaking out that norm, I decided to give it a go myself...to sport that suave 'alpha' male look of long hair with a natural stubble. I'm quite liking that look now and can see people around me taking a notice on my new facial outlook. Also, I can see that the long hair really accentuates my artistic personality and personal freedom to give myself that confidence to interact with people. Currently going through 11 months & already my hair is touching my neckline...and I've no intention to stop anytime soon. Let it reap...!!
I grew up getting regular haircuts so once I was old enough to say no I just let it all go plus i was jealous of anime characters yes its shallow but true
Mines really short rn but I lived in a really strict home where haircuts were mandatory and I couldn’t even grow it past my ears. Then I moved down to Oregon with my mom and I’ve started growing it. It’s been quite the journey I’ll give it that
I'm in yr 9 (I think it's 8th grade in America) and everyone there has the same haircut. And when I started growing it out I was getting teased, even my teachers were telling me to cut my hair, and idgaf about what anyone tells me what I look like. I don't do it for anyone else, I do it for myself. To change it up. I've had pretty much everyone I know tell me to get a haircut, and being a 13 yr old your very concerned about your appearance but I think pushing on through everyone's comments is a huge middle finger to them. I'm at 8 months and showing no sign of stopping!
I’ve just always wanted to know what it would be like to have long flowing hair. It’s just something I need to check off on my life bucket list. And I’m also a huge wrestling fan and most of those guys have long hair. I just thought it would be the coolest thing ever.
I’ve literally done the same hairstyle for essentially my whole life. I am so bored of it and I loved my hair the two times I grew it over a year! It was long but I want it longer! I’ve also noticed that men with long hair are the most interesting and usually the most authentic people
I'm turning 35 this year and I've just always been curious about long hair. My very thick hair would always go insane with even the slightest length so I would always keep it short. Last year after just gotten back from a trip with my now fiance (a trip in januari 2019) where I proposed to her), I mentioned that I was thinking to finally just go for it and she said that I should. I had just gotten a hair cut the week prior and just felt sick of it. Apart from getting engaged last year, this year is going to be a life changing year moving continents and all. It just gave me more reason to go for it. At least 20 months of growing wilt be behind me by then so it just all aligned. Luckily I'm self employed and can wear a hat whenever I want which really has helped the process tremendously since besides my hair being thick, I found out I have quite curly hair 😅. My hair has only just passed my bottom lip so I can't really tie it back nicely yet but I'm finally very very close! I can't wait to be able to fully tie it up. Anyway, if you've made it this far and you're thinking about it. Just do it, it'll be worth it.
I'm growing my hair out for 2 reasons. One is to see if I can actually stick to it and the other is because I would eventually wanna donate it. I'm challenging myself to grow it out for 1 whole year without cutting it. I'm so used to getting a haircut every other month. It'll be hard at first but I look at it as setting a goal and saving myself $25.00 for a haircut. If I can achieve my goal, I'll reward myself with a trim and continue growing it out long enough to donate to kids with cancer.
I grew my hair out since I grew up meeting a lot of long-haired men. My dad was in a band, I am too and it was my dream to walk in the streets with my dad, both of us with long hair. It's just VERY CINEMATIC when I come to think of it lol
I’m growing my hair out during this time of the coronavirus outbreak because I cannot go to the hair salon to get a haircut since it is closed. I decide to let my hair grow out during this time and let it get really long because I want to donate my hair to make wigs. I have never donated my hair before, but hopefully I will for sure do it as I make a difference to make a wig for those who are in need for one.
The reason why I'm growing my hair out is because I'm finally out of school, now that I don't have to follow any school regulations (My school was the "We are gonna shave your head bald if your hair is too long" type) I can finally explore things that I want. So far, 4 months in.
I've always been a fan of long hair and always wanted it. I'm now growing out for the fourth time. Sometimes it's nice to have a change. Last time it was that I wanted to go blond.
Hi Thomas! Been growing mine out for about 6 months now. I used to have really long, curly, and BIG hair in the '80's. This time I'm going for a more relaxed-curl look (and more beachy looking). I only wish mine was as thick as yours!!
People hate things that are different. Initially decided to grow out my hair to honor my late grandfather and I have always had the intention to donate my hair once it is long enough and when I am ready to Locks of Love the foundation that makes wigs for children. I have been growing my hair for over a year now and during that time I have had so many people hate on me for it. I've heard things like "You look like a girl" "You look gay" "It looks bad" ect. But the thing is, now that I have long hair that is out of the awkward stage that I can actually do something with I am noticed for it, people compliment my hair and tell me how they have been thinking of growing theirs out but they were too afraid. I look heavily to the story of Samson when I think of how my hair makes me feel, my hair truly gives me my power because it has taught me to not listen to the negative things people say as much as I used to and I feel empowered being able to stand out and be myself and not worry about what anyone thinks of me. I mean look at some of the men that have been voted sexiest in the world or many super heroes, a lot of them have long hair! To anyone thinking of growing their hair out but you are too afraid, JUST DO IT! The worst thing that will happen is you don't like it and if that is the case you can just cut it off but I highly recommend trying it out. Do not prevent yourself from doing something just because someone tells you that you shouldn't.
I feel like I've said my reason so much and it keeps changing lol. My main reasons are I've always had long hairstyles but never all long hair, metalhead, and if I ever can get a gf I want her to enjoy playing with my hair.
I was also influenced by your videos. It was honestly the videos that gave me that final push to go for it. I had been seeing long hair In tv and out in person and thought that looks pretty dam good and masculine if you wear it right. I had also become bored with my short hair with a fade/blow out. So I was thinking about letting it grow and once I watched your videos I said f**k it. It's been a year and three months and it's finally past 10 inches
I grew it out because I always thought that short hair looked weird on me. I came to really like having long thick blond hair in my face and having it rest on my shoulders. I really like the look of long hair on guys and it's another way to stand out.
I pretty much grew up in peak counter culture (early 2000s) and this seems like an easy way to seem a bit professional while also breaking every set of societal norms.
Ever since I started to grow out my hair, I kid you not, I right music waaaaay better! And its only a little below chin length and I'm growing it to my chest. And I feel like my hair is helping me to connect with nature more, It's hard to explain. And I feel like it might be making me smarter, I am getting better at mental math now! Maybe it's all in my head. LOL
*Had short hair for 43 years, thats the reason I grew it out, most men have it short so its fun being different, should of done it a long time ago. Saved a bunched of money, I used to go at the barber each 3 weeks*
Four years ago, I decided to grow it out. What influenced my decision was I needed purpose and confidence - neither were things I had. I am also of Native American (Lakota) ancestry, and decided to honor my ancestors with my long hair. I spent years in a beautiful period of self-discovery, and finally found my place in this world. With long hair, my creativity seemed stronger, and I had confidence to pursue my talents and passions. Made friends, could approach women. Then, late last year, my life started spiralling out of control again. My health took a turn for the worse. I seemed to be constantly sick with infections and my immune system was just shot. This affected my mental health as well. After being in the greatest depression of my life, last December I cut my then waist length hair. Like - the chop. Neck length. Now it's the shortest it has been in four years. I don't quite know where to turn now, all I know is I no longer look like myself or feel like myself. I don't know what came over me. I know that a part of me wanted a fresh start, but if I knew back then that I'd be suffering this much pain because I cut my hair, I'd never have done it. I was feeling low before, but now I feel even lower. Oh well, it'll grow I guess.
i grew my hair armpit length with a undercut it looked really good. but people always wanted me to cut it so i gave in after 3 years of hair growth and some cutting. i regretted it and tried to grow it out 3 times over a year and failed but then i tried again and now im 5/6 months in and can almost put it into a pony tail i love it!
Personally, it's a challenge for me because I'm having issues with commitment throughout life. So i started growing it out and im currently in my 5th month.
Marcelo Velarde Just shave it and than grow it up Use champo one singule time in a week Whe you get to the 6th month you gona look like anakin skywalker
I grow my hair out because I have wavy hair and it looks better when it’s long. I have had long hair to the shoulders and I heared a lot of positive feedback. So yeah.
Currently growing my hair out again had it to shoulder length at one time and plan on slicking it back but no undercut slick back because that shit has been done to death
I've grown my hair out 3 times in my life. I'm only 23 atm. The first time I did it I was 13 years old. However, that period it didn't last long because I was still in high school, and a private boys school at that. So we weren't supposed to have our hair under the collar so it was hacked off. The second time I grew it out I finished high school and this second time I grew my hair out for about a year and a half and rocked the long hair look for 3 years and about 2 months and the max is reached during the 2nd time was around 12-12.5 inches from the scalp. So pretty much I didn't cut my hair from September 2014 to about January 2017. Then I just cut it because at the time I found my long hair very annoying. And the third time is what I'm currently rocking. My last hair cut was in January 2019. At the moment my hair is 7 inches long from the scalp so around my shoulders. I rock long hair because I like to update my look no matter if it's long hair down to my chest, shoulder-length or short hair. I also have really thick, curly/wavy hair.
I have had problem's finding someone who can give me a descent cut...one is in the suburbs (of Paris) and the other closed shop without a forwarding address...I was broken hearted because he gave the best I had found in 22 years. About 2 years ago I realized that all the colors in my hair were covering white in the back and not just on top so I decided to let it all go...strip all color out and grow it out baby!!! I also got terribly sick at that point and was in and out of the hospital, lost about half my hair, 90% of body hair, then it wuit growing...finally after 6 months it started growing and now the back is past my shoulders while the fringe/bangs is about chin length (I had to cut it because the hairs that didn't fall out started breaking off at the same length as the new growth lengths...I want it down past my collar bones. I want to pull it back into a pony tail like a hussard quard cavalier, or a pony tail much further up like Nadia Comaneci in 1976!!!!!!!!!! Your vid's inspired me and now it is just keeping the patience and calm of mind to not chop it off when I get bored some night...but so cool to have silvery white hair down to my shoulders without the damage of bleach a,d just silver shampoo or clarifying shampoo to cut the blue-grey build up or brassiness of the pollution and , and oxygen.
p.s. I had shoulder length in the 70's (Jr high), longer in the 80's (big rock hair bank looks with some Nina Hagen influence) and last time about 2,000 with a Vidal Sassoon revival of long i the front and shorter in the back...so now at 58 I want the hair as I dreamed for decades...naturally long and white, like my paternal grandmother...she went white by age 30!
@@VictorL1 if you want man. It's a great suggestion but it'll take a long ass time to grow it out though. Just shave your head to a 3 or a 4 then it'll grow out a bit faster I guess
This is my reason why I grow out my hair: Firstly it looks really damn nice on men with long hair and beard. I find myself more handsome with long hair and that's why I keep it that way up till now. It's been 8 months and loving it. Secondly (this might sound weird for people), it's to motivate me to become like those people (our ancestors) living in the past, eg. during the civilisation days. We know most men had long hairs and beards and they were very hard-working. I found myself being so lazy after I graduated from my highschool and had little motivation to excel in life. I even ditched some of my goals and told myself "just go with the flow and embrace what life gives you". But nope! We're the ones who determine our future and destiny. The internet is awesome no doubt. It has helped a lot of people including myself. But if we're not careful with it, we might go astray if we are distracted by it too much. Sometimes, I imagine myself hustling like our ancestors. Long hair with beards and look very rugged hahahahah
i grew my hair because i always had short hair since i was a kid so i started growing my undercut watching your videos for 3 years and got bored so im starting to grow out my full man bun for the first time its been 9 months and my goal is shoulder length
Ignore my profile pic; it's a couple years old lol. I'm actually just a couple inches past solid shoulder length, started growing it out shortly before the beginning of 2018. Why did I start? Well, honestly, I just kept forgetting to go to the barber, then I thought, "Well, shoot, Thor is pretty awesome and masculine, and HE'S got long hair, I guess you don't have to be a girly-man or a hippy to have long hair", then I started paying attention to it more. Here's the downside: I had to "voluntarily" step down from the church choir as hair past the ears was in violation of the dress code. Other than that, I didn't really have any negative reactions, but the stepping down from the choir thing was kind of a gut punch to me; I was able to read between the lines and judge people's attitudes, and I have a feeling the "long hair on guys" issue came straight from the pastor, because the choir director didn't seem at all troubled by my hair. It also forced me into the position of essentially trying to figure out "Does God want you to have long hair, or does He want you in the choir", which seemed to me then, as now, to be a false dichotomy when the dress code was instituted essentially based on the preference of the pastor, not on the Divine will of God. Of course, then you run into the murky waters of ecclesiastical authority and submitting to the ordained minister concerning issues not expressly delineated in Scripture. This wasn't something I wanted to cause a big deal about, so I just stepped down. The crazy part is, most of my fellow choir members didn't even know that's why I hadn't been in choir! I'm now the only male member of the church with hair past his ears, by the way; everyone else, especially my age, kind of mimics the pastor's hair cut, which is a high-and-tight. Even when I had my hair shorter, it was never THAT short...
good video as always ✌😊 I have come to stage 6 and it as if it has stopped growing? It is right now approx. 1.5 cm above my eyes or sorry it's called down below? yet it is as if it is standing still? What do you do and have you tried this? and I also want to donate my cancer affected children. I also do it because I thought it could be an awesome journey with my little brother. I wish you all a good Monday. now i want to the doctor and have a check up. keep growing that hair friends
I started out wanting to have hair like Captain America in Infinity War. After getting there I then decided on going for a John Wick look, now being almost there I've decided to just keep going. It helps that my girlfriend absolutely loves it hehe
The reason I stoped cutting my hair is because I got tired of waiting for haircuts. So my mom is a hair stylus so iv actually never ever paid for a haircut my entire life. I would get a haircut every week to every two weeks on a regular basis. I would get a 1 all the way around, a buzz cut. I loved how it felt looked and overall it was just nice... one day my mom just didn’t feel like cutting my hair so I remember being very mad. I know now it was very selfish and childish of me acting out... but it’s just hair! So then I just rebelled and was like you know what... forget haircuts! The day I walked the stage graduating high school was the LAST buzz cut I ever got... iv has trims here and there just for the awkward stage but boi was my mom mad that I wouldn’t cut my hair! She would be like ok let’s cut your hair and I’m like nahhh... but now it’s like 3 inches past my chin... about 21 months of hair growth now... yeah
Javier Miranda, I’m in Kentucky too man. Where I’m at is country as hell and long hair isn’t SUPER looked down on but it’s still not like a, “popular” thing here. I find it funny that a lot of country people hate on long hair on a guy yet the Duck Dynasty guys are ok??? Weirdddd man. -Marion County KY (Now a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary)
@Thomas In Action I've been growing my hair out for about 15 months now.... But my hair is super straight and flat with not much texture. They're about 8-9 inches long now. How can I add texture to my hair, like yours in this video. Your hair looks so awesome man its got so much texture. So are there any *permanent treatments to make flat hair look wavy and full of texture??* If not, what products can I use, to make my hair look like yours?! Thanks brother :) Looking forward for your reply EDIT: Actually I must confess something. My hair is straight but I found out that it curls, during my awkward stage. The curls got super annoying to a point that I wanted to cut my hair - or do something to the curls. So during my 10th month of hair growth, I did a rebonding treatment to remove the curls and it helped me so much to get through the last part of my awkward phase without much effort (or looking weird). But now that I have achieved long hair, I have lost all my texture I once had. And I want it backkk T_T : '( Please help
This is how much people think Thomas shouldn’t cut his hair into a lowered undercut

My English might be a bit confusing, but that's cause it's self taught, so dont judge 🙃
hey bro do nofap and your life will become great .
@@Retetionretention I was on nf for about 3 months, and the results were the polar oposite of what I wanted, it made me feel horny and stressed out 80% of the time, and just pushed me deeper into depression.. But thanks anyway, I really appreciate your reply!

If you want to improve stamina (plus a major mental health boost if done regularly), you should try jogging.
I get about 4 Jesus' a week. Small price to pay lol.
My reason for growing mine out was basically why Forrest Gump started running....I just woke up one day and was like "yeah I want long hair"
That was a few years ago and still going strong.
Forrest had the brain of a horse, not so "human intelligently" but he had the ability to run straight forward focused no matter what..
@Shaise Kindering Get yourself a wet brush from like target. Wet is the brand name. They're God sends. Then condition everyday. Shampoo every 3 days or so.
@Shaise Kindering They're pretty cheap (like 10 bucks) and just burn through snarls buddy.
@Shaise Kindering lol yeah! Absolutely. Like a hot knife through butter. Tangles don't stand a chance.
Hey Thomas, the beard looks awesome. Keep it 🔥
I’ve always just thought long hair was badass since I can remember.
Progress update?
Your hair looks amazing papi! I’m 8 months in and pretty much done with that awkward stage but still watch your vids monthly for that extra motivation for the man bun 😂
I grew mine because long hair is more than just that it's a symbol of Raw strength and Grittt.
I'd say for me it's a combination of all of these reasons. Thanks for all of the love, inspiration and power. 25 months in now, and I feel great :D
I love your hair being so wavy in this video!
I’m almost a month of growing, but I’m so impatient!!
chris.hincapi you’re in for a ride man
chris.hincapi it seems more daunting at the start. Just try persevere and it will grow without you even noticing. If you want to notice the progress more check the length once then don’t check for another month
If you stop giving your full focus on it you'll be surprised on how fast it grows
So was I, but now it's all Worth it.

This girl I’ve liked for a few years apparently prefers guys with short hair but I’m currently stage 5 so hopefully she’ll see it’s gonna look great
Awesome video, I can't wait for my hair to be long!!

I’m glad I’ve decided to try something new now, and you have inspired me to grow it out!!
i actually was really insecure of my hair, the texture and everything about it
so when i start loving my hair i thought ¿why i should start growing my hair? so i start letting grown, now i have like almost 10 or 9 months, and my hair is weavy
Thank you Thomas, you are such a inspiration
Haven’t checked in in a long time. Your hair looks awesome.
It just feels good man
I’ve gone over a year because of this channel and I’m still going. Ty ✨🖤
I found this channel about 2 months into growing my hair for the second time, love the content, thank you all for the inspiration.😊👍
First Comment Bro Love You❤️🤙🏻

I started to grow my hair out just to see how hard is the awkward phase and to be honest I'm in my sixth month now and i haven't looked bad for a single day. So I will take it seriously for now on and i will go for longer and longer.
Before this video i felt like i should ask people before i do it, but now I’m just gonna do it cause i definitely need that confidence, thanks. :)
Hey i am also 13 and bean growing my hair for 8 months and they are calling me hommles
@@zeno1298 stick through it bro, I cut my hair while I was growing it before and I regretted it SO much
I’ve just always wanted to know what it would be like to have long flowing hair.
4 months in, really excited to get it that long, cut it for my brothers wedding when it was at about 8.5”, just want it long again
I’ve always liked long hair on men. Always been a huge Lord of the Rings fan and that alert of inspired me in a way.
Omg Vikings and GoT inspired me so much
I’m growing my hair out during this time of the coronavirus outbreak because I cannot go to the hair salon to get a haircut since it is closed. I decide to let my hair grow out during this time and let it get really long because I want to donate my hair to make wigs. I have never donated my hair before, but hopefully I will for sure do it as I make a difference to make a wig for those who are in need for one.
Your hair looks really good here Thomas
The reason why I'm growing my hair out is because I'm finally out of school, now that I don't have to follow any school regulations (My school was the "We are gonna shave your head bald if your hair is too long" type) I can finally explore things that I want. So far, 4 months in.
@Quinn Brophy id say do it bro, I'm happy with mine right now.
i just got tiered of going to the barbers so much and stoped going for a year, and i really like the long hair, so i kept it.
Now that you grew your beard you look astonishing
I just started. 4 inches long right now. lets see where the future takes it :)
That beard is looking sick 🔥👌
@Count Roy Any girl who doesn't like a man with a majestic mane is not worth dating😂
The reason I grew my hair out was because it made me feel different and I like that
I pretty much grew up in peak counter culture (early 2000s) and this seems like an easy way to seem a bit professional while also breaking every set of societal norms.
More professional than mohawks and it's more subtle
Ever since I started to grow out my hair, I kid you not, I right music waaaaay better!
And its only a little below chin length and I'm growing it to my chest. And I feel like my hair is helping me
to connect with nature more, It's hard to explain.
I've been growing mine out because when my hair is short it looks like a furry cartoon character after becoming a poofy ball when electeocuted
Personally, it's a challenge for me because I'm having issues with commitment throughout life. So i started growing it out and im currently in my 5th month.

This is my reason why I grow out my hair:
Firstly it looks really damn nice on men with long hair and beard.
Long hair with beards and look very rugged hahahahah
i grew my hair because i always had short hair since i was a kid

I've been growing my hair out for 22years now. The last time I had short hair 1998.
I initially grew my hair out because short hair made me look fat, but now that I am skinny, I like the look

I started to grow my hair out. I’m 4 months in. I started to grow mines out because every time I got a haircut I always ended up hating it
The reason I stoped cutting my hair is because I got tired of waiting for haircuts. She would be like ok let’s cut your hair and I’m like nahhh... but now it’s like 3 inches past my chin... about 21 months of hair growth now... yeah
For me it's just curiousity, I've had every other from shaved to zero to mohican
So are there any *permanent treatments to make flat hair look wavy and full of texture??*
If not, what products can I use, to make my hair look like yours?!
Thanks brother :)
Looking forward for your reply
EDIT: Actually I must confess something. And I want it backkk T_T : '(
Please help
Sea salt spray gives some texture
