I miss my old panther platform. My first car when I got my license in 1992 it was a 1985 Ford LTD crown Victoria. It was a gorgeous still in showroom condition. She took care of it. It was her baby. I had it for 15 years & never had any problems with it. Just regular maintenance I'd love to have another one eventually I love your car it's a beautiful car I miss that panther platform I wish they'd never got rid of it 😊
Thanks for your time! I appreciate you! I love these kind of stories! Very inspirational. I used to go through cars like they were nothing. But I’m meeting people as I’m getting older who have such a connection and passion about their cars it rubs off on me! Thanks for sharing. This is the best shock absorbers repair video I've seen online. It tells you what size sockets to use. How the shock absorber is suppose to look, how long it takes to do the job and every detail you need to know. No extra tools needed too.
If I jack up the rear of my car I put the chocks in front of the front tires to prevent the car wanting to go with the downgrade. I have a '99 with the different positioned rear shocks. I'm also in Jersey I know what you mean about the roads. With all the property taxes and tolls you'd think we would have the best roads in the world. Good vid.
Went with KYB's on my vic, but... I went with what came stock on mine at least. 07 p71 going on 182k. That underside is in great shape, you should get it undercoated with some sort of oily undercoating. (I did fluid film) and a combo of that and wool wax on my truck. The vic gets tucked away for the winter. It's mine and the daughter's fav car. At 177k, oem shocks were still doing great and no leak's. But that's police spec'd shocks and got replaced with the same.
Thanks for sharing, I appreciate your time! I am planing to do PB Blaster undercoating or something similar to that! I’ll look into your advice on the fluid film. I do want to preserve the car as it’s still under 100k. My 5 year old daughter loves to help with the car and loves to ride in it. She calls it “The Bus”
