      Thanks for telling me this. Yes I seen a lot of good videos about anything you could see on RUclips but had poor lighting effects.

      You got it , my airbags are still looking good for now. Sometime close going into the 300,000 mile mark I might have to do it.

      The green is the OEM equipment. It's not an aftermarket shock. 9,800 miles driven update.

    Apparently the shocks I bought didn't come with that rubber piece that goes on top. This explains the gap and the clanking

    • @Pantherforlife
      @Pantherforlife  3 года назад +1

      It's called a shock absorber bushing. AutoZone has it ; www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/lincoln,2008,town+car,4.6l+v8,1443281,suspension,shock+absorber+bushing,10885

      And just to let you know it drives a whole lot better. I don't get that choppyness from the rear or fish tailing from bumpy roads.

    So you had to buy the rubber top piece that you silicone separate?

    • @Pantherforlife
      @Pantherforlife  6 месяцев назад

      @Ace-44 The new shocks didn't come with them, so I reused the original.

      @Pantherforlife Thats crazy. You went with Motorcraft?

    To prolong the life of the rubber grommet that goes in the top of the shock, why should you have to buy another product to make it last longer?

    • @Pantherforlife
      @Pantherforlife  2 года назад +1

      It's a product I already have and used it to prevent from cracking and dry rotting. Applied it on my air bags suspension also. Just to help protect and prolong the use.
