  • In bass fishing, what's the most important part of your lure when it comes to getting bass to bite it? Is it the type of lure? The color? Or maybe it's the way we as anglers present that lure to the bass. There is one other aspect that may be the most important part of all that often gets overlooked. Once you understand how it works, your catch rate will skyrocket! #fishing #bassfishing #fishingtips

      I use to soak my worms in garlic juice then watch my brothers face as I caught and he didn’t! Haha! Every now and then he would say “ I smell garlic “ I would say that’s weird! 😂
      Then he and my younger brother decided to use fly rods and while they were discussing what bug hatched I would be catching big bass😎

    Scent is definitely something that I need to use more of for sure. I want to do my best to experiment more with it. I definitely think the right scent should help close the deal when those fish are just nosing around and looking at it.

      If there's anyone who can test this and have the great underwater footage to show what's going on, that would definitely be you! The crazy thing is, I would change color/type of worm after each fish catch and everything I'd throw just worked. With the obscene amount of boats on the lake at the time, that was certainly not the result I expected!

    I think scents do make a difference. I took two exactly the same packs of Yum humdingers. I put scent in one bag and left the other plain. I tossed the plain one first for an hour and got one bass. I then tossed the scented one for an hour in the same area and got four bass in an hour.

    I’ve definitely witness scent play a factor in getting a fish to commit. 2 particular times were during spawn season. Had a fish follow and nose up to my suspending jerkbait as I let it sit near brush (for at least 1min). Used my spike-it pen on tail end and threw back out, fish nailed it. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, was working this fish with my white jig with Alabama shake action - it swam up then swam away. Finally put some spike-it on trailer, it got more aggressive and actually engulfed my jig.

    • @LowBrowFishing
      @LowBrowFishing  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes, but for the osmotic process to work, there must first be a pathway; in this case small microscopic holes and pores in the plastisol that allow the salt to pull the moisture out, stabilizing, and then transferring the modified moisture back in. Never heard of the WACO RIG. I googled it. Nothing came up except WACKY RIG. So please explain the WACO RIG

      It's a technique I developed. I have several videos on my channel dedicated to it, including several recent ones.

    And... how much did luck play a factor? Proof of the spray working woiluld take an entire series of 10 days fishing at the exact same time, with and without the spray.

      Luck has nothing to do with fishing. We create our opportunities for bites. And yes, I have been doing this for several days with similar results and I will probably do an update video at some point.

    What is a Waco rig?

    • @LowBrowFishing
      @LowBrowFishing  5 месяцев назад +1

      It's similar to a weedless wacky rig that I started doing a while ago. I did a a few videos all about it. Here's a recent one: ruclips.net/video/JIQmOm1fIog/видео.html

      If they think anglers will buy it, then someone is gonna sell it!

    Soaking over spraying before a cast is very noticeable

    You catch 20 bass in 2 hours. I’m lucky to get 1 in 2 hours.

      Keep working at it! Soon you'll be able to catch and land more bass than you ever thought!

    I used to catch Smallmouth on stinky cut-bait, before the Cats rolled in for night fishing. And yet again 1 more reason I stand by me claim that Bass fishermen need only watch yours and Steve Rogers' channels. Save your $.
