They still make pop rocks and the snack pack pudding. You even showed the updated packaging.

Those were great. They were discontinued when the sugar lobby created a questionable cancer scare over cyclamate in 1969. They tried to do the same thing to sacharine in 1977, but enough consumers pushed back to keep it on the market.

Really enjoyed the video! Hope to see more like it in the future! Always great to remember the great snacks of the past. I would love to see them bring back the Banana Flip.

I could give a bit of insight into the decline of Space Food Sticks because I lived through the era! They were novel at first but in reality they were pasty and would leave a film in your mouth! Haha!

Pop Rocks were still available at least until the late 2000s or early 2010s, and so were Hunt Snack packs (I worked at Target so I speak from experience... stocked a lot of both). But man do I miss Jello Pudding Pops!

The one I miss most of all are Dinosour egg jawbreakers by Wonka. I keep hoping they'll revive them.

9:08 "SLIME PUDDING"?? I suspect that was more appetizing than it sounds. Anyway, the products I want back are Carnation Breakfast Squares, sort of a meal-in-a-cake deal in the shape of a tort, and Great Shakes, which were powdered milk shakes that came with their own shaker cup. One of the first Great Shakes commercials featured a then unknown (in the USA) band called The Who.

I miss Nickels cakes They used to have a lot of dessert items that are gone. They had the Banana flip, chocolate dreams, sweet rolls, cream filled coffee cake and a spice cake with raisins and icing

Pizza spins were Terrible! They tasted like 4/5ths pizza and 1/5th vomit. You know Jelly Bellys vomit flavored bean came from their failed attempt to make a pizza flavored bean.
But Cheese Tid-Bits were The Bomb! They kicked all other tiny cheese crackers in the nuts! Glad I watched this now, as I haven't thought of these.....well.....since the 70's.
Mug-O-Lunch was so bland and tasteless, you wished some one would mug you and take it away from you.
    Marathon was fantastic!
Never saw Aspin soda back in the hills of Tennessee.
We nagged Mom till she got us some Koogle. It sadly was all hype and was only fair tasting. It was far below peanut butter. We only ever bought the one jar of slightly chalky tasting chocolate.
I say bring back Cheese Tid- Bits! They were far better than Goldfish. They had a strong sharp cheddar taste that I still remember.

This is so dumb, pop rocks have never stopped being sold. Remember it as a kid in the 80s & I will still buy it for my nephews.
