Captain Cold is gay. I'm convinced that's the case. He plays the role in a kind of effeminate way, he turns down a VERY tempting offer on Legends tomorrow night, (It will air tomorrow) and he's never shown any interest in any of the very attractive females on the show as far as I can tell. That's not proof, granted, but he's just always read gay to me and I don't think I'm the only one. Captain Cold is gay. I say we make it official. Just come out and say it.
If Brandon Routh (Atom) says he is gay, would he suddenly look effeminate to you too? Do you know that Victor Garber (Prof Stein) is openly gay? If you didn't know, I bet you would start to scrutinize his demeanour from now on. Captain Cold does not show interest in females to you because the stereotyping part of you doesn't accept it. Also, you do not have the right to drive Wentworth into a corner. He doesn't need to prove anything to you. He is confident with his sexuality, he does not need to make whatever character he plays adopt the same sexual preference as him. If anything, he looks pansexual on screen and off. If not, he wouldn't have been able to sell the Michael Scofield and Sara romance on Prison Break.
