It's pronounced Kébek :)
Me, from Halifax NS, sitting here yelling "Lower! Lower, over there! " like you can hear me.😂
Nelly Furtado is from Victoria?! Sweet
Congrats for being able to say Saskatchewan (well, the way people outside of Saskatchewan pronounce it anyway). That's a feat in itself! Honestly though, you did better than me, a Canadian. I don't remember my geography. I learned that in elementary school. I can't remember any of the east coast.
How do you say it? I'm from the east coast and I say it like "sasKATCHewan".
Oh now I'm curious on how you guys say it. I'm an Albertan.
Btw, how you remember the order of the Great Lakes is "SuperMan Helps EveryOne." Or Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie, Ontario from left to right. The one thing I remember from Grade 4 Social Studies 15 years ago.
You knew a lot more (even without the scoring) than a lot of people outside of Canada would, so you did pretty good. I wouldn't have gotten some of the land features correct and I went to school here.
Love these videos! Always a fun time.
my favorite thing is all the things you said when you got things wrong 🤣
You did amazingly well! Firstly, you actually knew more than just - "Canada, that place north of us.....". And even though you had to do a little searching and recall, I would say scores over 70% would challenge even some Canadians - so kudos to you! Thanks for your interest!
You did so well!! 🥰🍁
These always make me giggle. As a Midwesterner i realize that I guess we just have to know about the Great Lakes and other states don’t care as much 😂
we definitely learn about them in NJ too but I haven’t thought about them in a while 😅😂
The Great Slave Lake is actually named after the Slave people.
It's pronounced Slay-vy 😊👌
As a long time Canadian viewer this was amusing! All the provinces/territories have flags so I'm surprised there is no flag quiz on this list. Huh.
Wait is it really pronounced “Ra-Jai-na”????
No wonder my mom (gina) was called “Jaina ” at her college graduation 😵💫
yep
@@CatCaffeine that’s so crazy…
Yep rhymes with... Deadpool said it "rhymes with fun" because that's where he's from.
Me (a Canadian):
Rockies! Right there! (points to coastal mountains). Oh.. right.
Lake Huron! Right there! (points to Hudson's Bay). Ah yes yes of course. I knew that.
Physical land features are not my strong suit 🤣
But I did know the cities. You nailed the capitals! Very well done!!
I'm on a geography kick this summer! As of this morning I have successfully named 195 of the 197 countries of the world! I admit that is after practicing and reviewing each continent before hand, but still!
You up for the challenge???
ETA: I just found your video from 2020 where you attempted the challenge! Wonder if you're interested in giving it another go??
I’m Canadian and I only know half the answers for the “Psychic Features” quiz
Newfoundland is the island, Labrador is the part attached to Quebec (qwa-beck)
Quebecers usually prononce it "kebek" without the "w" sound.
Not "usually" no fench speaker in the history if ever would fucking dare to call it something else
HOW do you know of Edmonton 😄😆😂
Right? Inquiring minds want to know. Even bands regularly skip it on tours (I lived there for a time- I hear Winnipeg gets it worse though).
@@r.j.grayson6899 oh yeah😄😆😂poor Winterpeg, because it’s nearish dead centre east-west & above the Dakotas aka snoozefests (I joke of course about latter…) Fun factoid: 80s rock band Mötley Crüe had one of its 1ˢᵗ live concerts BEFORE they struck it big in Edmonton.😄😆😂Believe Nikki Sixx was arrested due to "contraband" porn mags & lots & lots of drugs on his person.
I know of it bc of PhilipSoloTV loool
The reason there is a Great Slave Lake is because there is a Lesser Slave Lake. It's in Alberta, slightly North West of Edmonton. Hi! From Fort McMurray, Alberta we're south of Lake Athabasca. Want to hear something wild? I had a friend whose parents are from Dildo, Newfoundland. Yup. A real place. Isn't Canada great?
