SAS can't be bothered to even have a good understanding of the current NBA let alone NCAA prospects (see a clip that found renewed popularity recently where he claims that there wasn't an NBA caliber player on the Villanova Championship teams). Based on that I am not even sure SAS knows where the continent of Europe is on a map let alone their basketball prospects.

The big problem with picks like knox and Ntilikina were that the knicks picked them in the lottery! They were project picks. This kid is also a project but he's being picked late 1st and he won't play in nba right away so I think this mix of factors he has maybe a better chance to succeed.

Well France is a beautiful country,but also has good basketball players. At first I was like SAS,but I saw a couple of videos of him,and I was like😁. The Knicks got themselves a steal internationally😁,will slash him,and save a few million dollars. They are saving 💰, gained a bunch of 2nd round picks,and trying to resign I-hart. I have faith in Leon Rose unlike in Layton,Thomas,and Jackson.

Kids in the USA need to get better coaching, the fundamentals in Europe are hands above anything we are putting out stateside at the moment.
coaching is fine, the problem is the culture. Kids wanna be individually great here whereas in Europe team ball is emphasized.
Man all these euroleague players are averaging 7ppg in the euro league. Theres no NCAA freshman at 19 years old getting drafted after averaging 7 points a game. They drafting him off of potential but theres kids in college right now that have just as much potential. None of these euro guys are even dominating their leageue but they come to the nba and get drafted lottery. Its all about potential rather than actual performance. in the NCAA these guys are performing and putting up numbers . We got guys just as good over here with the same amount of potential. the NBA is a business . France accounts for much of the NBA euro markt. So teams are incentivized to draft alot of these french guys. How many french guys actually pan out. theres some good players but the percentages of those who pan out are less
AAU Fd the game up for developing the young kids in America. They used to develop better in college too.

Kid is 18 years old already has NBA size and is a high percentage shooter. To me this is a help the bench now move with big upside. 6'9 near 220 for an 18 year old. When this kid is 21-22 he could be 6'10 or 6'11 and 250 and be a very very good stretch 4

I'm not good with the draft pick of Pacome Dadiet. Hope I'm wrong. But the facts are he has short arms (6 ' 9" wingspan), can't jump (6 inch max vertical). Not a good defensive prospect and unlikely to be an offensive standout unless he's lightning quick--he's not. What a wasted pick.
It’s a knock on USA basketball when u have many euros drafted I predicted this three years ago bc the nba doesn’t play defense anymore. The guys overseas plays harder offensively and defensively and they don’t choke.
