Man, I never expected Nagash to be considerate enough to wear an all-hazard-stripes coat! OSHA must have gotten him gooood in the past. Jokes aside, I'm not fond of the coat, but that's obviously a matter of taste. The golden advice here was the beginning. Posture and composition are crucial, yet too often neglected. It can be a painfully slow process to repose a miniature to make it read as believably animated, but I've never regretted taking the time. There is this moment, when you turn the miniature and it comes to live, because the weight and vector of its pose jump at you. So satisfying and sometimes even quite easily done.

Grey knights. I always thought of them being perfect for a grim dark style because it's so different then what everybody expects. I love your guys content and it inspired my own style even though am just starting I love how different my grey knights are to others and I would love to see what you guys could do with them.
Yeah they already have this medieval knight look and they're fighting demons 24/7 so it's surprising to me that you don't see them get the grimdark treatment more often. I don't have the time or the talent to give the minis in my own army the kind of treatment GDC would so it would be cool to see them do it.

I would absolutely love to see your take on Khorne Daemonkin faction The Wrath. Not because they're my army, but because they're particularly groady even by CSM factions. I would love to see how you guys deal with the bones, blacks and vivid reds they have while keeping to the fact that they anoint their armor in pulverized gore of their fallen and enemies alike and buff their armor in bone powder.
I really would love to see your interpretation of the Imperial Fists chapter. I love the grimdark style, but with yellow often times being a very vibrant as well as difficult color to paint, I would like to see what you could achieve with your style of painting.

It would be great to see your interpretation of chapters like the Charnel Guard: their genetic flaw that makes them similar to ghouls opens up many interpretations! Furthermore, seeing you do justice to Tzeentch would be incredible: recently I think it has been too relegated to the "memey" and bird-like aesthetic... Some healthy "Howardian" esotericism (like on the old issues of White Dwarf) would restore its charm!

As much as your new design is nice, you're not fixing anything. Fixing imply the item is broken, wrong or "bad art". Using "reimagining" or "rethinking the design of" is a much more humble way to present things. Kind regards :3

I got more of an Egyptian vibe from the cloak, myself. The blue-black and gold striping of the pharaoh's headdresses was what I thought of.
