- This is the best rotation and best opener for paladin in ffxiv dawntrail patch 7.0 although the Potency you gain for the amount of complexity you add is unnecessary. That aside anyone who wants to push the Paladin Job to its limits for this patch here is how.

Hello everyone! Here is another Opener you can try that most pro players use!
-2s Holy Spirit Pot ---> fast blade + FoF + Imperator ---> Riot blade , Circle of Scorn + Expiacion ---> Royal Authority ---> full Confiteor combo ---> Holy spirit ---> atonement combo.
Paladin Right now is a bit complicated to play perfect and there is no one same rotation you can follow.
What's best to do is to experiment for each fight to use Confiteor combo while you are disconnected from the boss, and of course use it inside FoF and on cooldown.
To do that you have to play with your 1-2-3 combo while having Atonement combo ready.

If you visit fflogs webpage , find a player with perfect score on any job you like, and then go into "timelines" you can see the order of which spell he cast on every boss fight!
This is the best way to learn rotations I hope you find this tip useful!

As I've said in the description the easy straightforward rotation is enough to give you a 90+ log if you execute it correctly. This is more like a min-max for those who hate their lives haha 👊👊👊

hello ! I'm following your rotation at the moment, which GCD are you playing? because on a long fight I find myself with a delay or the GCD came back long before I followed the rotation? thanks for answer
I have 2.48 gcd with my current gear and I can't align it to be the same after 2 rotations as well. I've hit some good logs with paladin this tier so based on that I suggest you to ignore standard patterns and try to find the way to have your ranged combo ready when you are disconnecting from the boss. Its an overal dps gain plus makes every fight feel more natural and easy.
Many times I use this rotation to align the Range combo with curtain mechanics but in most cases following the normal rotation + using a few attornment hits before the Confiteor combo makes fights a lot easier and gives you dps.

@@zaveid93 If you want to find the absolute best rotation for every single fight you can find it on FFLOGS. Find a paladin with 99 log select him on this specific fight, click on "Timelines" on the top right of your screen then "Casts" right below it, and you can see the order or which cast he used.

Ultimately right before you start your fof. The important part is the prayer. Always pray for crits before you pop it. Pro tip. 😂😂
I'm new so I'm probably wrong but going into FoF after RA makes me late into party buffs so my lats 1~2GCDs wont be buffed?
is 10 potency of sepulchre bigger than putting holy spirit + RA + holy spirit inside party buffs?
I believe it has more DPS because it allows you to use fof on cooldown. Which is Around 3gcds per rotation.
And to be realistic none of these matter if you have no luck with crits.
While I was recording this video I had 4700dps on a failed rotation try because I had insane luck with crits. But I messed up the rotation big time.
So, let me see if i understand this correctly. Dropping sepulchre once during the filler will allways make sure i have sepulchre + royal authority + holy sipirit during FoF and that will be a dps gain?
Yes , plus I notice that you can use FoF on cool down, not having to keep it for like 3gcds. Ogcds are getting a bit messed up , but I don't think it matters as long as you cast them inside the FoF window

Blade of Valor comes after Blade of Honor. Its also better to weave Goring Blade after Blade of Honor
where you put goring blade makes no difference as long as it is under buffs
1. You can't weave Goring Blade because it's a GCD.
2. It doesn't matter where you use Goring Blade, as long as it's falling within Fight or Flight. You could use it the first GCD, the last, or anywhere in between -- it makes literally no difference.

Yeah and using holy spirit 5 times in a row was boring so I guess it's okay.. imagine you have to press confereor 4 times and then another 4-5 hs? Haha 😂

No it's the same. And you don't have to do this complex one if you don't want to hit 95+ log.
