Hey there! Your location won't really impact your Etsy shop's success. Etsy provides a global marketplace, so you can reach customers worldwide regardless of your location. As for leveraging social media, I suggest promoting your Etsy products once you've gained some success organically on the platform. Focus on Etsy first to build a strong foundation.

From my experience, my digital product shops usually bring in higher profits on Etsy compared to my POD shops. Digital items cost less to create and can be sold multiple times without extra manufacturing or shipping costs. But it depends on your niche and how you attract customers.

Not true, you can open multiple shops from the same computer and internet! But if you had a previous shop that was suspended, then it might be a good idea to use a different IP address when launching the shop

@brandontimothy yes all place brands take a percentage of sales but Amazon and eBay... don't ask me to pay them when I want to make a listing

there is eBay which charges for listings but it is after a hundred listings

Of course! Etsy has over 90 million active buyers and remain strong in 2024. Personally, I still get many sales from selling digital products on Etsy from the shops I built years ago and a few months ago.
