Yes, I think so. Hero recently showcased the 125cc Xoom and now this is making its debut in terms of Indian showcase. This Maxi Scooter will be launched in 2024 itself and will rival offerings like the Yamaha Aerox and Aprilia SR160. Do note, Hero will also launch the Xoom 125 this year.

Chalai bhi hai Aerox? I ride it daily, it will take a lot for other brands than Yamaha to catch up to Aerox.
@@tradewithkay9stock suspension is the only turn off for aerox. Too stiff for Indian conditions. The engine is great though as it should be.

Xoom 160 failed even before launch; even Hero has no confidence to start deliveries.
The current handle bar of the xoom 160 looks similar to the handle bar of Suzuki Burgman 125. But in my opinion if they could change the handle bar and make it similar to the one that Honda Adv 160 has then it would seem more complete along with the under seat storage capacity to be 30 litres max.

Hope Hero give a decent fuel tank capacity of more than 7 Lts..and retain 14" wheel size with decent ground clearance of more than 155 mm😊

हिरो की यह मॅक्सी स्कुटर निःशंक बहुत ही बेहतरीन है। विदेशो मॅक्सी स्कुटर को काफी पसंद किया जाता है लेकिन भारत के लिये यह एक नया कन्सेप्ट है। इससे पहले यामाहा का एरॉक्स भारत में है। उसे संमिश्र प्रतिसाद है। तांत्रिक रूप में देखा जाये तो भारत में स्कुटर में जो लेग स्पेस मिलती है वो काफी अहमियत रखती है, जैसे छोटे बच्चे वहा खडे रहते है, वहा कुछ सामान रखा जाता है। तो वह बहुत काम में आता है और इसलीये स्कुटर को ज्यादा पसंद किया जाता है। मेरे ख्याल से भारत के ग्राहक की जरूरत सामने रखते हुए मॅक्सी स्कुटर में यह लेग स्पेस स्कुटर जैसा कुछ करना चाहिये। अन्यथा बेहतरीन होने के बावजुद भी युवा, युवतीओं अलावा फॅमिली पर्सन चाहते हुए भी इस मॅक्सी स्कुटर को नही खरीदेगा। इसपर संशोधन होना जरुरी है।😊

Ihv traumatized experiences with Heto.
We 2 friendz took our 1st Hero product, Mine is Pleasure My friendz Mastro 125, on 2020 march, just 2/3dz ago from Lockdown.
But after that, for last 4yr, its very baad, the quality of parts is worst among others, each nd every servising Ihv to change something. With these 4yrs, I ride only 9000km, and except engine almost all other comonents r changed. And all r repetitive change, 4 times break shoe, 3times choke cable, 1 battery, ignition switch 2times, accelarator wair 2times,...
My observation is that after separation from Honda, Hero hv reduced its quality of parts to mk them cheap.
Its not HeroHonda its the inferior part of that Hero Moto corp.

Yeh launch hone se raha!!!! I have been hearing from ages that this will launch but these companies do not have the balls to launch maxi scooters in India, bas exibitions me dikhate rehte hain. i have been hearing of Hero Maxi scooter from 2017, its 2024 now.
Hope the suspension is great. Need it for off roading.
Meanwhile tvs milking their shitty ntorq series, I own an ntorq and it's pure garbage plastic panel vibration, alot of handlebar vibration at low speeds very rubbish scooter one more crucial problem with the ntorq is that at 55kmph try taking ur hands off the handlebar it will wobble very badly that the scooter can loose control and crash...
Yamaha AEROX 155 is looking much better....

After the XPulse 2004V, this maxiscooter is so far the only 2-wheeler from Hero Motocorp that I'm genuinely interested in.
The Mavrick turned out to be an underpowered dud, but the Xoom 160 looks promising.

The wait for honda to launch the Adv 160 has been for a couple of years now, still no signs for its launch. And Aerox with problems even to get hold of one is tough only in few blue square shwrms and non-availability of spares makes huge space for Xoom160. If performance is upto the mark & spares available, Hero has struck the right notes. Honda ADV160 still remains a dream.

The biggest issue with Aerox are its rear suspensions and small fuel tank. If Hero doesn’t fix it, this is yet another useless vehicle.
