  • So I recently stayed the night at the #HolidayInn, 5905 Kirkman Rd in #Orlando, FL. This property is DIRECTLY across the street from the #UniversalOrlandoResort. It’s literally walking distance away. I wanted to check out this property to find out if it’s worth staying at for future trips to #Universal. I was happy with my stay and did, in fact, walk to Universal the next morning. 15 minute walk TOPS. Which is about the same amount of time it would take you to park in the parking garage and get into #CityWalk as well. Hopefully you find this video helpful, and I look forward to bringing you more of this type of content. If you enjoyed the video, make sure to hit that like button. Not a bad price at all. I wonder what their normal rates are because that is way cheap price for a nice hotel. The bed is everything in a hotel for me. If the bed is hard as a rock, I won’t like the hotel room no matter how nice it is. I need my beauty sleep 😁😂😂😂 Glad you got to enjoy it. So how was the bed and how was the walk to the park?

So, the bed was very nice! No issues at all! The walk to the park, 15 minutes TOPS. Which is much easier than going to the parking garage and all that mess. We even had our own security checkpoint, literally no one else there!

15 minutes TOPS, one way of course, but considering the alternative to walking, I would’ve had to get in my car, follow the signs into the parking garage. Stop at the parking toll plaza, show the team member my AP & DL. Finally get past all that, then fight “rope drop” parking garage traffic! Finally get parked, grab all my “park’s stuff,” walk to the security checkpoint, queue up for that. “During COVID times, that’s a bit sketchy!” Then FINALLY into City Walk. I had NONE of that walking into the park’s! There’s a dedicated security checkpoint for “walker’s” of which we were the ONLY people there, again PERFECT scenario for COVID/social distancing times. Through security in literally 15 seconds and up the “dedicated” walker’s escalator, again the ONLY PEOPLE on it. BAM, you’re in City Walk! Skipped right past all the BS, I enjoyed the walk TBH. I’m always interested in new experiences in Orlando. it very much reminded me of walking into Disneyland, if you’ve ever been there before

passholder_trav good info! Def will keep this in mind for the next Florida trip! I’ll walk less than a mile to save parking costs lol.

Absolutely! Parking’s included on my AP, but I wanted to test out the walk as opposite to the garage. But I get what you’re saying, $27/day for parking gets expensive. You absolutely have to factor that into your vacation
