Thank you for the wonderful video....10 days ago, I was looking up information on Universal Studios and your Vlog came up....Long story short...I ended up taking a last minute Father & Son Trip last Monday and my son had the best time ever, We ended up staying at Cabana Bay, We arrived pretty early, after we checked in our luggage, We boarded the shuttle bus to Universal studios, I was so happy seeing my son enjoy himself on the cool rides...Life is so short, and I was glad to be able to make this happen....I appreciate you for sharing the vlog with everyone "Stay Blessed"
Pool hopping is allowed at all but the Endless Summer resorts. You can also walk to Sapphire Falls from either Cabana Bay or Aventura to utilize the water taxi.
Love Royal Pacific! It was my papa’s fav place and he was excited to share it with my family before he passed. Aside from Express Pass, I love that the vibes is relaxing and you don’t feel overwhelmed when you come back!!

Great video again mate. Universal have got it spot on. Their hotels and parks are so close together offering so much choice for different budgets. And I think once Epic Universe opens next year they'll be offering so much more than the dated Disney parks are looking now. The Epic Universe press release video looks amazing.
Loved Endless Summer Dockside - had a family room for 5 of us and the separate space was a major blessing. Apart from a single "day off" in our 2 week stay we were out from early morning until late evening so only used to sleep. Got a food delivery early on that gave us our snacks for the fortnight with the decent size fridge being particularly useful. I should also note that having 3 doubles rather than the two doubles and a sofa bed in Cabana Bay, as well as the fact there's a totally separate room helped push us in favour of the value resort.
I went dockside a couple years ago and loved it, we got a room upgrade to a suite. I had a burger that was awful from the cafeteria but it was easy to get food on international drive.

Superb video! I think Universal's hotel collection is a much better value than Disney's collection overall considering price, convenience to parks/water parks/entertainment districts, and cleanliness/upkeep of properties. When Epic Universe and its hotels open next year, the value gap will widen even more. As someone who has been attending theme parks for decades in Orlando and our local Cedar Fair park here in the Charlotte area, express passes are a horrible value at any theme park. We have specific times of the year we visit parks and non-stressful and easy ways we plan each attraction to where we rarely have to wait more than 30 minutes.

Great video. You're right regarding the price increase of Cabana Bay. Gutted it's costing that much more (thoigh we are looking around when the kids are of school). Hoping when the new hotels open, these drop in price!
You can walk from the value hotels to the parks and vice versa btw. It's definitely a longer one, especially after a full day at the park, but I've made the treck in less time than waiting on that nearly hour long bus ride at park closing.
Only been to cabana bay out of these, but I lucked out and got to stay in the western (southern?) most tower right at the VB side entrance. Personally I found the burgers at bay liner really good, chips were meh, but that cheese burger, I could eat that sucker every night. I nearly did, lol.
Granted, 5 months too late. But I always like to add, for the Club 17 at the Aventura, if you’re there at the right time (9:30?) at night, you can see the Disney fireworks if you’re into that kinda thing

Even though I prefer the premier Resort of Portofino, I was quite impressed with endless summer, especially the price point. However, I can't wait for Epic Universe hotels to open next year. You didn't even add any links to the Cabana Bay things you mentioned. Its annoying when youtubers say that, then totally don't do it. Cabana Bay family suite doesn't even have a THIRD BED! Endless summer has THREE queen beds.
Frugal Brit I stayed at cabana bay and dockside I like dockside more I also stayed at Lowes royal Pacfic I am a pass holder and fl resident I have the premier pass holder so I don’t need the xpress pass Lowe’s sapphire falls is going to be changing to a preimer hotel
So I’ll say this. I’ve stayed at these premier hotels plenty of times with my gf and had never had a issue. I stayed not to long with my brother who hasn’t been here since he was in 6th grade. At about 12pm our smoke detector went off and woke us up and my brother touched the detector and it fell off. About 10 mins goes by and we hear aggressive knocking and there was about 6 security guards and a maintenance guy who was there. Immediately said to my brother took y’all long enough he peaked his head in the door and said smells like marijuana in here (even thow we didn’t smoke in there nor did we have anything like that in the room) the guy comes in puts a new battery and twist it back in. The next morning I had a charge on my card for a smoking fee of $250 and when I went down there to talk to them about it. They said that the smoke detector detected and illegal substance and alerted the hotel. Even thow they don’t even do that lmao. And for tampering with the device. We ended up having to deal with the head manger of the hotel and eventually had the charge reversed which will take 2-10 business days….. almost felt like we where targeted for being younger adults. I still haven’t had the funds put into my account either. Definitely tried to pull a fast one on us.

I think that Universal needs to switch to Pepsi so that Pepsi fans can enjoy a Pepsi while visiting Universal. If Disney serves Coke, then why not have Universal serve Pepsi instead?

Yeah it’s disappointing. I paid £1950 for two weeks in 2022 for the family suite (14 nights). Can’t get near that now.
My favorite resort has always been hard rock, just something about the vibe there

We’ve only stayed at Hard rock, but we absolutely loved it. And the express pass was a great perk.

I reckon if you ask nicely there's a good chance, but not had any experience.
Why do you not show prices for the premiere resorts ?
Maybe because it's over $900 per night.
I did show the price ranges when introducing the premier resorts.
The range is 350-900 for premier. Mostly 750-900 is for spring break/March and Christmas/new years.

Can you use the pools from the other hotels (example Cabana Bay) if you are in dockside or surfside hotel.
I've heard that dockside and surfside don't have pool hopping options. But anything above that level does. I may be wrong though.
