Where do you start designing the home of your dreams? When you have a blank slate in front of you and a million decisions, how do you begin? You start by analyzing your life, what you like, what you don't and what you need to live your best. You need to stop and think about what your best life looks like. These are things only you can know.
The decisions you make early in the project are very important and inform your entire trajectory, so don’t make them lightly. I am not trying to scare you, more to prepare you. Do your research and then do some soul searching. Think about your core wants and needs in your home. Not about what color your cabinets will be but how you want to use your home and the life you want to live. The more you focus on your core needs and the overall vibe of your lifestyle, the easier it will be to make decisions and defend them throughout this process.
