@@zaneymay I read where rooting hormone is actually one of two types of acid. The same acid occurs in apple cider vinegar (among a few others). Now I wanna see an experiment of apple cider vinegar vs root hormone vs nothing!!! May e one day you’ll have time?!!!
You shouldn't keep them in the sun, they like partially shade. also, try spraying the leaves as often as possible to prevent drying out. your soil is a bit dry which might be the biggest reason some may not have made it my friend. idk about rooting hormone as I haven't used it before but maybe you applied a bit too much? and lastly it would help if you put some hormone in a different container when dipping the cuttings, don't dip them directly in your container to avoid unwanted contaminants, I love you
Thanks for stopping by they are shaded when in the pots and planted. They did get a few hours of sun. They were watered daily if it didn't rain. It was an open experiment to see what would do best. I like to do things the easiest way. Thanks again.
Oh wow, on the sage and I love that you showed the differences. I've never used hormone root before. Would love to see the ACV ones as well. Experiments are so fun! Cheers, Ivy.
I would do sand, no root hormone powder on the cuttings. The only thing I would do different - I should have up potted them before putting them in the ground. I haven't tried just water. Good luck.
I got curious halfway thru this video on why the rooting hormone might cause plants to wilt and it says overdoses, like with medicine, can occur.
Oh! I had no idea. Thank you for that information.

@@CiaofCleburne yes in the description I listed a few things that can be used as a rooting hormone. I have tried the aloe vera.

Thank you for stopping by.
Nice! Your sage starts looks great! I'm still waiting for my seedlings to get bigger, lol!
Some of the roots were at the bottom of the pot.
Cool experiment 👍
Thank you.

I was very pleased when I seen that you had one which had bark on it. That is exactly what I was looking for. Should I put straight in dirt vs water?
