I personally had the most negative experiences with this book and that does not mean you'll experience the same. ALL Tier lists change depending on the chapter, hero, weapon, playstyle and importantly *what you prefer*. **CHANGES** - As of Patch 1.4.7, they nerfed Enlightenment and removed the back button which means you have to always pick up the ability they give you. There may be a chance this was not intentional so hopefully they being back the back button :( - They buffed Art of Combat! Another great video. I like to add something regarding the arcane archer book. I think with that book you get the attack speed penalty from front arrow not only when you have the ult active but all the time. It whoas the 1st book i got affter the update and i had a fealing my attacking whoas slower. Not sure if it is a bug but this plus the fact if you have front arow from leveling or the devil when you have the ult active you are geting 2 3 front arows depending at what level is your book that will lower your damage to mutch so i think this book is the worst from all 4.Another thing is the knock back one i dont think is good to pair with the tornado becasue if im not mistaking can pull enemys faster close to you at the return of the tornado. Not sure if my logic is good there.I use the tornado for the daily coints and xp event and when i go in today i will try it and coment back with some info if there is a interest for tornado mains.
hey @superTeeds I have a question for you since I don't have the Enlightment book yet. Is it possible to charge it when you fight against the little Blue Slimes spawn by Blue Blob ? because if it does, you can move to not fire so Blue slimes come back from the Blue Blob again and again to charge the Enlightment Book (same to gain your life back if you have Bloodthirst) Hope you'll get the question ! I just wish I was getting books and scrolls. I’ve been playing quite a bit since these launched and I have 2 books and 2 scrolls popped up. Drops for me have been terrible.
Writing here in case you missed it: Changes as of Patch 1.4.7: - Nerfed Enlightenment by removing the back button meaning you have to take every skill they give you - Buffed Art of Combat, it is faster at Rare and will not activate if there are no enemies. Remember, I will revisit this once I get them all at epic! It's hard to judge how great an item is without having them all at epic on the same level. I would like to know the freeze time, the damage numbers, their % & more but I can't do that with commons and rares. Thank you! :)
Enlightenment is still number one in my opinion, but it's really personal preference. Definitely closes the gap more between Enlightenment and the other 3 books and now it's a matter of having an ultimate that is almost always active vs having more skills but also chance of having bad skills
@@kacperwawszczyk Enlightenment might not be number 1 at low rarity, but once you get multi-skill +1 then the removal of the back button is near meaningless so Enlightenment is still great!
that's just not true at all. the player chosing when to activate for instance the arance book makes it far stronger than the red one. with the red one, you will often get it activated when you clear the room, which makes it useless. and i have absolutely no problem with stutterstepping despite the books

I actually hope that would be the case with Shade. but maybe they should put in a different option for the activation, idk. either way, thanks for the headsup on the art of combat. Thanks for the review! I am a staff user and arcane archer spellbook is my number 1 choice as it increased my DPS by alot and I can clear boss stage really fast when I activate it.

Hello superteeds i recently found your channel and it helps me because I started not to long ago and your videos helped me defeat chapter 3 and vest of dexterity is a life saver and I unlocked events but I have no friends and can't play co op
totally agree! but I'm unsure about red or green to boss chapters. reason why is that usually the hardest bosses are the first ones due to lack of abilities so the early dmg from red might be safer to clear that. Of course green all day for chapter 14 which has the totally opposite problems. Keep up the good work cheers

I totally agree with your tier list and unfortunately, I got unlucky, cause I received a rare Ice Realm book from a free Obsidian Chest and dropped enough Arcane Archer books to make a great one but the other two books didn't even drop once, which leaves me with the worst books at my disposal. Also, I'm not using stutter-step (too distracting for me and also sometimes it cancels the attack itself instead of canceling the animation, at least on the stalker staff which is my fav weapon), but still, half of the time active book skill gets triggered on accident. Double-tap is a very unreliable input.
Good one teeds.. i have a great enlightenment book A con to note about this book is that it can activate when you're about to take damage and makes it difficult for you dodge... Even in boss stages
You can stutter step using activation ultimates and not activation activate it. I would rank Ice Realm 1st because it's the only one that can actually save you in a near impossible situation. It was absolutely important on beating chapters 11, 13, 14 and 15. It saved me on Hero Mode as well, and for me, it's the absolute god on Expedition Mode. Some levels have just so many monsters that you really NEED them to stop attacking. The only place I use Enlightenment is on the Endless Mode. For me, Ice Realm means getting me out of trouble (which is why I evade skill like Freeze / Spirit Freeze) when I need the most. Combo it with that new armor, the Shadow Robe, and it's amazing.
On version 1.4.7 there is no back arrow for enlightenment skills in the bottom left.. so you cannot leave/forget the skill. Hopefully Habby adds this back in as I've had a few skills given which mess up my runs.
Enlightenment pros which you mentioned that it is automatic isn’t really a pros. Most of the times the ulti procs when I’m dodging projectiles or enemies, which then when I get back into the game, I always get hit by the incoming projectiles or enemy because of the small delay in movement. Would have preferred if they make it ‘tap to activate’ so the ultimate doesn’t pop up in the middle of me dodging projectiles or enemies.
You might add this Teeds, Enlightenment book might activate when you're still battling mobs with projectiles going towards you, so after you accept the extra ability, you might not have enough time to dodge and thus get hit.
Sorry if this is a dumb question and it's off topic but I just started playing this game and I'm wondering what "Dark touch" and "Holy touch" arrows do? I understand the poison, ice, and fire arrows. I love these vids, thanks for making them!
Before epic the Art of combat Feels much better With enlightment Every 12-15 Waves you get 1 ability while Art of combat basically triggers every Single Wave and When Upgrading it the additional dmg you get is getting higher and higher. Sometimes you even recharge it twice per wave and if your Buff is still Running it will stay at 100% and you will get the buffs After entering the next Room
The only way to stutter step with the manual active books you have to literally swipe fast I. Any direction and it is very hard to be consistent with it... you can literally hold your finger on movent bar with the manual books and he will still attack unless you move
a bit tips on enlightenment, watch your footing when the gauge almost full.. i always ended up taking damage when it happens.. also a question teeds, is the length of hp bar affecting on how long the gauge fills? you can shorten HP bar by taking devil's deal and lengthen it by taking hp boost..
i think the freeze spell book should be ranked higher than arcane archer as that one shot of higher damage will not affect your game too much. in contrast the freeze spell book can really get you away from a sticky situation.
It is multiple shots & Ice Realm is just too case by case and too specific. Think of it as specific sticky situation vs bursting down something before you get into a sticky situation. I also like the consistency of Arcane better and overall usage. It may be because I use Scythe though so my knock back already counteracts the need of Ice Realms freeze.
When you have (ULT.) before the ability it means that every time the charge is complete you gain what is described? For exemple: (ULT.) Attack + 200, it means that every time the book is charged you will gain extra 200 attack in that run?

It charges when u deal damage aswell, i have got new skill when i was fighting a boss in the middle. I think they have nerfed enlightment secretly, it takes longer to change now. U can never get 3-4 abilities in a run anymore. 2 is maximum i guess But it still the best, 1 good ability makes huge difference

I lose my items/ wouldn’t get them in time because I walk to the next room to quickly ALL THE TIME I don’t know if it’s just me but it’s so infuriating Seeing a Lion ring etc. but they’re not flying towards me fast enough before I enter the next room!!!!!!!!! The worst thing ever!!!!
Arcane archer is the best one for me, i get to save it for bosses, the amount of dmg that it gives you at that moment is a life saver. Although, I didn't know about stutter stepping, so i might pick the other one with the auto ultimate just to make use of it. Enlightenment was never worth it for me, it took too much to charge, and maybe the skill wasn't even going to be very helpful at all, imagine doing stutter stepping just to get 3 abilities that don't help you. I understand why you guys use it, but i rather control my boost in attack and use it on bosses.
Hey there! With this new update, I can't do the standing stutterstep anymore. And the "moving" stutterstep, when you have multishot, makes the second shot be casted to a different direction. Do you have any tips about this?
tbh Arcane Archer is best for chapter 14. Enlightment takes way too long to charge and wont be very helpful. With the staff, you can really deal much damage to bosses and it is not very difficult to stutter step
Art ot Combat doesnt activate if you kill all the enemys. It stays full charged then when you enter in a room/start a round in wave chapters it activates, just so you know
i already know whats the top 2.. can we cancel the skill off green book if we dont want that random skill?? also ice book is strong i try low hp helix almost 1hit boss in chapter13 my ice book still color white.. but i have diagonal arrow then come closer to boss click the skin then almost 1hit by crit dmg + low hp helix hehe
Book of enlightenment is the best! Sometimes only one ability can make hell of a difference; imagine getting greed in infinite advanture 😑 I selected this book thinking that I'll get 4 extra abilities and in return I got greed in start and no useful ability afterwards 😂😂
I've also come to the conclusion that Enlightenment is the best one, I think the others are quite rubbish. Unfortunately I've only gotten a single one and I keep getting many of the others 😕
They have changed enemy's power. Now they do much more damage and they are a lot more faster. Especially in mid arenas. They nerfed Meowgik too (less cats) What a shame!
@@SuperTeeds Ice Realm feels like it's so much higher drop rate than the others. I got rare Art of Combat and rare Arcane Archer from a set of 10 obsidian chests and I got 4 ice cream as drops.

I guess elithment is the strongrest one for most of the game But as a player that got to chapter 14 I test some and arcane was the best against bosses ( i got staff) And my arcane only in common and still do the most I got the red one in rare Its good to farm cus its activate so fast almost in every stage But on 14 its meh.. Enlightment seem a little usless for one that want to farm fasr chapters and try to beat chapter 14
Guys try new game Lunch Hero! I started yesterday very similar new game but not so boring and griding, not pay to win and all about money like here and its more fun! I am lvl 80 in Archero and I know how frutraiting its get later, 14 chapters is really not enought and take months to get anywhere...
Is it just me or you can't stutterstep when you have a book equipped? I tried without the book and it works fine, but when I equip it it just stops working. I find it weird that no one is talking about this, seems like it'd be huge if Habby just removed it like that.

I like the manual activation as it allows to strategically save the ultimate skill for boss levels and quickly lower their health..

With this new update, I can't do the standing stutterstep anymore. And the "moving" stutterstep, when you have multishot, makes the second shot be casted to a different direction. Do you have any tips about this?

tbh Arcane Archer is best for chapter 14. Enlightment takes way too long to charge and wont be very helpful. With the staff, you can really deal much damage to bosses and it is not very difficult to stutter step
Ice Realm doesn't really play into my build at all, so ofc its the only one that ever drops for me..
I never got anymore book, does it drop or only come from chests?
There is a bug for the enlighment book, u can have all the skills by rerolling

Same here! Other books just refuse to drop for me. Feels like its bugged. They should have increased drop rate IMO.
Art ot Combat doesnt activate if you kill all the enemys. It stays full charged then when you enter in a room/start a round in wave chapters it activates, just so you know
I didn't experience that? I specifically tested this multiple times. Is this on Patch 1.4.7? I tested this on 1.4.6. If so, that's great news then!

also ice book is strong i try low hp helix almost 1hit boss in chapter13 my ice book still color white.. but i have diagonal arrow then come closer to boss click the skin then almost 1hit by crit dmg + low hp helix hehe
Oh, so that's why i get multiple extra abilities in one chapter with enlightenment! Im the type who charges full face at the enemies! Hahaha

Book of enlightenment is the best! Sometimes only one ability can make hell of a difference; imagine getting greed in infinite advanture 😑 I selected this book thinking that I'll get 4 extra abilities and in return I got greed in start and no useful ability afterwards 😂😂

I've also come to the conclusion that Enlightenment is the best one, I think the others are quite rubbish. Unfortunately I've only gotten a single one and I keep getting many of the others 😕

They have changed enemy's power. Now they do much more damage and they are a lot more faster. Especially in mid arenas.
They nerfed Meowgik too (less cats)

I'm struggling to get Enlightenment. It's either far rarer than the others or I just don't know how to farm well.

@@SuperTeeds Ice Realm feels like it's so much higher drop rate than the others. I got rare Art of Combat and rare Arcane Archer from a set of 10 obsidian chests and I got 4 ice cream as drops.
@@imjustwolf wow, I only get weapons and rings from my drops lol, haven't got a single book her from drops except for enlightenment and Arcane Archer once each :(

I guess elithment is the strongrest one for most of the game
But as a player that got to chapter 14
I test some and arcane was the best against bosses ( i got staff)
And my arcane only in common and still do the most
I got the red one in rare
Its good to farm cus its activate so fast almost in every stage
But on 14 its meh..
Enlightment seem a little usless for one that want to farm fasr chapters and try to beat chapter 14

Guys try new game Lunch Hero! I started yesterday very similar new game but not so boring and griding, not pay to win and all about money like here and its more fun! I am lvl 80 in Archero and I know how frutraiting its get later, 14 chapters is really not enought and take months to get anywhere...
