Ranking a hero low does not mean you cannot beat the game with it I'd like to clarify again that this is based on my opinion, experience and research for those who need some guidance. ALL tier lists change depending on the chapter, weapon, playstyle and importantly *what you prefer and enjoy the most, play what you love :)*
@SuperTeeds Something I realized with Shari is that at duo after one of the players die Shari spawns more vines. This might be a glitch tho I haven't played with her for a very long time.
1 thing to mention is phoren's projectile resistance passive.. he is good for beginner.. ps: meowgik and death scythe combo is lethal.. but i can't moved on from helix' guaranteed rage so i prefer him instead of meowgik.. hehe..
I've been playing about a month or two now and I'm on stage 11 and stage 7 in hero mode. I'm yet to get my first yellow item. My favorite characters are meowgic and shade. I love running a crit build on shade because of the dark touch abilitie she has. And meowgic I typically run a all around damage build using the lion and bull rings. I love the videos and will continue to watch them ❤
Lol I already jump into meowgik quickly after I saved up enough gems. The cat dps is undeniable and hella reliable. I didn't even know this video existed and I already chose meowgik more than a year ago.

Awesome vid! Was able to get to stage 49 on ch. 13 with Meowgik. That level is too hard lol... Btw, request for Adventure Mode: Title: Teeds, The Last Avatar! 1. Use Sylvan 2. Prioritize elemental skills before any other skills when leveling up (spirit abilities, sword abilities, circle abilities, strike abilities, star abilities, meteor abilities... if none of them are options, just grab w/e you want lol) 3. Can use any other method to get different abilities (the devil, angel, wheel, etc.)

@@Aws7iq Don't even tell me. Was fighting the last boss and it killed me. I didn't have 30 gems and didn't get the ad revive. Its HP was lower than 50% and I'd have probably killed it. Smfh. And yeah, Meowgik is a beast
Just a quick update, I actually finally beat Ch. 13 with Meowgik lol... Seriously took long enough. From my ONE finished run on Ch. 13, I guess I can tell how I beat it for anyone?? LOL. Like all you guys, I had a pretty high level Meowgik (lvl 65) and mostly perfect epic items with full upgrades. Kinda an unorthodox skill build, but Multishot, bouncy wall, and piercing brought me through (got extremely lucky with getting those 3 specifically stacked with one another, and I definitely had RNG on my side for the other skills). I feel like bouncy wall is EXTREMELY underrated for this specific chapter- would personally classify it as an SSS class skill build if you get those other skills since there are SO MANY walls, or even an S-SS class without one or the other. But if you get ricochet before piercing, go for ittt Also, with the upcoming May-update in giving buffs to the elemental skills, hopefully it will bring you far in adventure mode if you ever do this challenge :)

Guys if you're new please don't make the same mistakes as I did. I had all the weapons on epic in my inventory and I wasn't aware of there being a higher rarity (perfect epic and legendary) l dismantled all of them because I wanted scrolls and money to upgrade the bright spear because I thought all the other weapons wouldn't compare to it. In essence, save up everything you can and keep merging because some weapons work better than others on certain levels

You know what I thought was a huge con with Shari, she’s like the only hero who’s second all hero buff doesn’t happen till level 80. Also to the community, if you didn’t get her during the event, can you just not at all get her now?
I am currently bulding my Taranis because I am a fan of lightning abilities in general, already have an S tier Perfect epic Celestial Warplate and perfect epic thunder bracelet, working on getting the lightning warhammer currently
I was so excited when I leveled up my Taranis because I have a perfect epic brave bow that also has 50% crit chance. But I misread the ability level when I got him to lvl 60 thinking that was max. 20 lvls to go -_-
Hi Teeds Thanks for a great vid - appreciate the effort you put into these. Perhaps you can do an 'overall best hero' vid next? Here's my thinking: archero, like all combat games is about balance between attack and defence - literally the movement of the char is this decision at every turn. To work out the best overall hero I'd say you need to look at a number of factors: 1) TTK. Your current vid focusses on highest offence - and this helps with defence in terms of time to kill for sure. The longer you stay out there the more likely you are to get hit/die. 2) mobs vs bosses. Chapter 11 is a good example here: the bosses (at least the first few) are super easy - Ch11 is hard because of the insanely tough mobs. some heroes are great with bosses but terrible with mobs (or the other way around) - so ranking them on this would be interesting. This brings me to: 3) type of maps. Again - chapter 11 (which most people struggle with) is interesting here: meowgik is by far the strongest on this map - as you can hide behind walls and make sure you don't take any damage. Having to venture out into some of those rooms is very risky. Walled maps are hard for most heroes - as the monsters have to get closer before you can engage. Also: 4) you mention base stats - but it might be interesting to look at what this amounts to: base stats increase per level - so how is a Lvl 50 sylvan different from a Lvl 50 onir for example? one will naturally have more HP/damage - and these also make for interesting considerations. 5) Also - intrinsic abilities such as higher dodge/hp/attack for endgame could be interesting. A score across all these factors would probably change your rankings a bit. For example: you could check each hero against the Lvl 11 final boss (where you can easily work out its HP). What's the TTK for each at Lvl 60? what damage mitigation does each char have at that level? What HP do the chars have? so a char that has 1000 base can take let's ay 4 hits whereas a char with 1200 base can take 5. Against bosses that would be huge. Dodge chance would also be a big contributor here. But the TLDR of my post: high damage isn't everything - it's also about survivability - especially endgame. Archero balances everything out on offence vs defence. You'll notice that heroes with higher attack tend to lack defensive abilities - the'yre more the glass cannon types. But when you look at the stats you'll find that this isn't perfectly balanced. Anyway - thanks for the vid, look forward to the next.

Her shadow clone ability is funny. Spawns loads of clones and frequently. 5. Urasil. Poison is the best elemental arrow imo. He may have lower damage / health than some other heroes but he can hide while poison kills, something other heroes can only do if they get poison arrow 6789. Phoren / Taranis / Rolla / Ayana (dont own them) 10. Shari 11. Atreus
One think you forgot is that arrow upgrades front arrow diagonal arrow etc increase the chance for the kitties to spawn so abilities like rear arrow and side arrow arent that useless for meowgik even without bouncy wall
Imo poison is OP in this game for the reasons you explained during the Urasil breakdown(letting poison do its thing while you are moving or attacking other targets). I defeated a boss in expedition by just running around the arena (any hit would have killed me). For this reason I think Urasil deserves a much higher spot. Its not always about who deals the most dps Ive also heard that void robe, poison arrow, poison circle, poison swords, poison strike, poison meteor, and poison star all apply seperate ticks? Which means you can stack?
I dont know if you have noticed, but the meteor and star attack is waaaaaayy better now! They changed how it works and now it actually hit enemies and they dont disturb you either!
dang had i known how good phoren really was, i would have bought him much sooner. he still is weaker in stats to my best hero, but he is rapidly catching up as all the money i get goes to him. thanks for the info
Although i agree with most of this Shari has now been updated to have no limit to the amount of thorns you can have I yhink she should be ranked higher but i still agree with most of this

very nice analysis, meowjik is my go to hero currently given that i'm not willing to spend money on heroes. Shari is very disappointing now that it's available again with the 1 year anniversary patch. where would you place Ayana on this list? seems like it is new and was not mentioned.
Could you possibly do a video showing the heroes that "attack through walls"? And maybe explain how the element heroes enhanced attacks are improved over the element arrows, or what abilities stack with each other lol
Teeds, u could do better, including their unique stats, like Taranis, lvl 80 + 50% crit. Damage, with the epic bow, could be the best champion in the game... I hope listen your opnion about that in other video...

I'll just say, its a lot of fun when im playing and I have ton of shadow clones and one eyes lazer monsters helping me. Then if you were to add Meowgik's kitty ability on top of that, and you'd have your own army.
I notice the Cats that waits when enemy went underground then hits the target when re-appeared deals NO damage. also Helix is the biggest hero that means easy to get hit. When he gets the Dwarf ability he's just the same size of other Heroes.
Nah, all hitboxes are the same. But Meowgik's cats will always deal dmg on impact. Bosses like Snake-Plant-Going-Underground have a very short grace period after surfacing so if cats hit then tey do no dmg
After hundreds of hours of playing the free heroes Helix is BY FAR the best. His built in rage is IDEAL for bosses and when you need to beat each level. Helix is WAY better than Meowgik and I have leveled them up to max. I have beaten stages 1-15 and I HIGHLY recommend HELIX unless you want to pay for Sylvan or Shade. (Tip: Helix + Staff is the best combo to beat all levels)
The best for me is rolla i use her since the beginning and now im ch15 with her i think her freeze abiliy is really nice because she resests attacks from bosses etc. Her base attack is also really high 2nd highest except shade
When the different heroes came out i didnt really bother using others than the starting one cuz i didnt have many gems and i was using the armor that poisons all enemies in the room, was this dumb? Now ive got the portal girl btw
Lol i only use phoren. Blaze was alrdy a really good ability for me and I focus on dps over defense so it was perfect. Also i love how most of the heroes tht cost actually money are worse in the list.
For me I never bought Helix but I have used the berserker ability from the pool a lot and the risk outweighs the reward. Maybe helixs version of the ability is so much of a reward it outweighs the risk?
Me too, I believe somewhere close to Meowgik. She has lower dmg but her teleports and 15% ranged dmg could actually make her slightly better than Meowgik
You have to grind your way through leveling up gear and your hero. It may take awhile but once you have something good you know and should breeze through a few chapters at a time
Wow Shade 4th thats interesting iam f2p player but frome co-op playing with others with Shade she is much better than all others even Sylvan but i get it i dont like her looks either :P, as for my list it would be: 1. Helix *he is ma man :P 2. Shade 3. Sylvan 4. Meow Meow 4th cuz i dont enjoy him/her.

I found that meowgik spawns more recently if you have more arrows, so stalker staff + meowgik = a lot of dps
Cremete0r or if you attack faster, it will trigger more cats as well

Onir is my favorite. At level 40, he have increased damage on ground types. That's useful against bosses

I was meow main untill chapter 14 and i had to change for helix. I like meow better for most chapters but for co op and boss chapters helix is a must

I think that a 80 level Taranis could actually be the strongest hero with his 80th level bonus. 50% crit dmg is insane

Taranis gets a +50%crit attack on lev 80

I'll just say, its a lot of fun when im playing and I have ton of shadow clones and one eyes lazer monsters helping me. Then if you were to add Meowgik's kitty ability on top of that, and you'd have your own army.

I notice the Cats that waits when enemy went underground then hits the target when re-appeared deals NO damage.
also Helix is the biggest hero that means easy to get hit. When he gets the Dwarf ability he's just the same size of other Heroes.
Nah, all hitboxes are the same. But Meowgik's cats will always deal dmg on impact. Bosses like Snake-Plant-Going-Underground have a very short grace period after surfacing so if cats hit then tey do no dmg
Can you stack the fire damage of phoren?i mean if the enemy is already on fire,can you put him again on fire that the fire ability hits twice?
After hundreds of hours of playing the free heroes Helix is BY FAR the best. His built in rage is IDEAL for bosses and when you need to beat each level. Helix is WAY better than Meowgik and I have leveled them up to max. I have beaten stages 1-15 and I HIGHLY recommend HELIX unless you want to pay for Sylvan or Shade.
(Tip: Helix + Staff is the best combo to beat all levels)
The best for me is rolla i use her since the beginning and now im ch15 with her i think her freeze abiliy is really nice because she resests attacks from bosses etc. Her base attack is also really high 2nd highest except shade
in my opinion, taranis is better than onir because onir needs the enemis to be at certain place when u hit to hit the others

Playin my first week ever. Tday is 6th day. Using hellix and crossbow. Im at chapter 11.
When the different heroes came out i didnt really bother using others than the starting one cuz i didnt have many gems and i was using the armor that poisons all enemies in the room, was this dumb? Now ive got the portal girl btw

Lol i only use phoren. Blaze was alrdy a really good ability for me and I focus on dps over defense so it was perfect. Also i love how most of the heroes tht cost actually money are worse in the list.

For me I never bought Helix but I have used the berserker ability from the pool a lot and the risk outweighs the reward. Maybe helixs version of the ability is so much of a reward it outweighs the risk?

Me too, I believe somewhere close to Meowgik. She has lower dmg but her teleports and 15% ranged dmg could actually make her slightly better than Meowgik
i've been playing for almost a week now, and I'm stuck on chapter 6. How do you beat it?
You have to grind your way through leveling up gear and your hero. It may take awhile but once you have something good you know and should breeze through a few chapters at a time

If you have no other heroes and only Atreus, yes use her over Atreus
No, Shari is better than Atreus but you're better off using Urasil even towards the very start, then phoren once you can buy him, then Helix.
As a new player, should I save my gems for meowgik or get Phoren and open obsidian chests for gear?
Save up for Meowgik! Obsidian Chest are not worth it imo, the item pool is huge and there are too many bad items

taranis looks cool
sometimes i prefer to use taranis instead of phoren in the endless event. both of them are lvl60 and my taranis have better stats.
I guess I'll get all phoren shards from the weekly events lol
