I know that Anakin needed a father figure instead of older brother, but Obi-Wan still trained him pretty well, he taught him how to use the force and how to fight with lightsaber perfectly! Anakin fell because of his fear of losing Padme and his frustration with the Jedi Order, but instead of blindly following Palpatine, he should’ve tell Obi-Wan about his problems. Even if he was strict of the Jedi rules, he would’ve understood Anakin and help him. Qui-Gon was one of the greatest Jedi no doubt, but Obi-Wan was as well. He’s awesome!
Anakin was made by dark side experimentation and the Jedi mistook him for the chosen one based on his force power. He was a true villain redeemed by Luke's courage.

But he let Anakin eventually do a test after Anakin was forced to stay for the night where he had a vision of hes mother who wasn't real it was one of hes sons who came to Anakin during hes sleep. But the test there was if he could control hes sons that he then could tell that Anakin was THE ONE. After he accomplished the test by controlling hes sons to not kill Ashoka and Obi Wan the father wanted him to then stay at that place to kinda put balance into the force. If he chose to be selfish and walk away and not take the fathers place as the ruler of that place he would be haunted for life because of that decision. That felt like he put a curse kinda on Anakin and knew he would become a Sith and a force for dark instead of good. That's my take. Have you guys seen that episode? Look at season 3 episode 15.

if I'm being honest Qui-Gon Jinn should have lived survived killed Darth Maul. And trained Anakin Skywalker freeing his mother and allowing him to be with Padme. as a bonus Qui-Gon Jinn should have been Grandmaster.
