In this studio, basic classes are the beginner classes, and classes labelled beginners asks for people with several years of dance experience.

"beginner" at bdc is 2-5 years of experience :) they have basic (0-1) and absolute beginner (usually only workshops, but no dance experience needed at all)

It's my dream to dance here one day. There are not really any adult dance studios or classes where I'm from and I've always wanted to learn more. I want to take this class, in particular, also because I wanted to get better at turns and leaps, but have had no true instruction or a caring teacher.

Hi Anna- Broadway Dance Center has a lot of Beginner and Basic level classes. Check the schedule on the website and come to NYC! I am there every Thursday with this particular class at 4:30pm but there are also many other amazing, loving teachers there:)
