At 42 yo, I found out I was pregnant
during a time when my husband and I were having terrible financial difficulties...we’d filed for bankruptcy, were losing our house, and hubby had lost his job and was facing legal issues. I was anxious and overwhelmed and termination of my pregnancy was the only option I considered. UNTIL...my mother, who supported whatever decision I made, called me at work one day to check on me and played this song before she hung up. My baby just turned 9 and I thank God everyday for the miracle he gave me!! Whitney’s voice is unmatched!

I remember when I first heard this song and saw the video. I was two months pregnant and thinking of terminated my baby. My life was so jacked up. I thought how can I bring a baby in this world and them in my situation, its innocent. I prayed all night after calling planned parenthood to schedule and appt. I was in torment because I didn't want to kill my baby, after praying and still undecided but leaning toward keeping my baby. I walked into my bedroom and this video came on. I had never seen it b4 but the words hooked my heart, nothing should matter not when love grows inside you. the choice is yrs, there's a miracle in store. Wow, it was as if God was speaking to me through Whitney. Just then it was as if I could feel my baby say momy dont kill me. It was one of the most powerful moments in my life. I cried like a baby for the rest to the video. Needless to say I kept my miracle. I never got to thank Ms. Houston, but for sure that song and her powerful and deep felt lyrics spoke directly to me.
Thank you Whitney for helping me make one of the most wonderful decisions in my life . You are greatly missed by me.

Wanda life, that's life this song miracle have been listening to it for years, and I use to sing nothing should matter the voice of God is crying out don't throw it all away. I went thru hell n God me brought me out its still a miracle to me. that voice is the one the voice of God was speaking to you, you needed to hear him God and that was how He was to get you, love was growing inside you.
This is one of Whitney's most difficult songs to sing, in my opinion.. but they're all pretty difficult when you think about it. But the sharp transitions from low to high, the runs, the softness and quick transition to power... just perfection... she was the best singer on earth!

I listened and I have my miracle today. His name is Zion and I can't imagine my life without him. When I found out I was pregnant I was confused and talking to the lord in my heart about what to do then this song came on the radio and I just started crying all the way through. By the end I was balling my eyes out. Very underrated song in her catalog. Released as the third single from IYBT in 1991, the song was a bit eclipsed by all the hoopla over her singing of the National Anthem a couple months earlier. I believe it peaked in the top 10 but fell off the charts pretty quickly. The song wasn't completely radio friendly as it is a bit plodding and long. Today it's not well remembered. I always come back to this song periodically as a great example of Whitney's pure talent. The tenderness and softness she displays mixed with moments of sheer power and projection. Her ability to blow the roof off in one moment and then completely downshift into that tender voice.....unbelievable.
