@@itskevinjustkevin Oh yes! Though last month, the meme was coming to life in my hometown, but with the much smaller winter moths (and even then, only the male winter moths have wings.)

I really don't understand by people are so terrified of bugs. Yes there are poisonous spiders and wasps and stuff, but this moth is beautiful. Those wings are awesome

I have a huge phobia of both moths and butterflies and I watch these videos to try and overcome this phobia. But as much as they scare me, I would never ever want to hurt them.
Moths have no defense and get eaten by lots of predators. It’s only true defense is a big-headed looking creature design on its wings, with two nefarious-looking ‘eyes’; designed by nature, and truly a work of art.
Not trying to sound like a nature freak or anything, but I cannot fathom why people would want to kill such a harmless insect. Every living thing (except Mosquitos) has a purpose. It's beautiful :) To be honest I'm not a moth person but this is beautiful the wings. You're not scared of butterflies are you? They do no harm just like most butterflies and they look like them as well :)
When I was a kid- age 9 or 10, a friend and I found all these 2" long Cocoons in the Birch trees in our area in the winter. Awesome. Our parents were impressed- They had no idea these beautiful Moths were in our own neighborhood all those years.
