Ya I didn't know that a stamp in the ingot raises the price by 230%. I'm a scrapper and sell about 300 lbs per week. The guy also said copper is a novelty.
I will keep that in mind to only buy or sell Coper that is graded and stamped . My SSI Check is $914.00 a Month So those pre 1982 Pennies and Stamped Coper is within my reach .
WHY WOULD YOU SELL COPPER!!!!!!!? WILL cost MORE in five years! When electric vehicles are MORE on the roads! Since electric vehicles will use most copper.🤦🏼♂️
Long term investment opportunity missed if he did indeed sell them that's for sure.. and he lost half of what he originally spent ($250) so double lose
Hoard all metals they’ll all increase over time
Well if your willing to wait 60+ Years then go for it..
A great heirloom to leave behind to your kids/family at that point lol@@Dirtydiesel201

Brass?
I have lots of brass from the pew pew range.
HE DID 10×5 ON A CALCULATOR
Copper is copper regardless of stamp outside of a coin shop. Good luck getting those prices anywhere else
SO you paid 500 and got 225 is that right ??
Taras is going to make this coin shop the next Pawn Stars
Did you notice the manicured fingernails of this shop workers hands?
So $228 for that? And he paid $500?
😂
He got the shaft and enjoyed it.
I refine metals in my backyard.
Ever try to pour an ingot?
Try to hide something inside an ingot and tell me how it works. Lol
Well, a small-time refiner probably couldn't do it, but Chinese mass producers could.
you carve it out after its solid
Would be very difficult haha
Mix it.
@@zsch9802 it would be obvious if you mixed copper with something
Yeah idk. I’ll stick to pre 82’ pennies that I get for free
They are getting harder to find especially in large quantities
1:09 they could quite easily be generic metal bars and just coated in copper and therefore worthless
True. Thats why you weigh and measure them.
how did you get that kind of value on a branded copper bar? ive never seen people take em ? specialty coin or pawn shops?
Ya I didn't know that a stamp in the ingot raises the price by 230%. I'm a scrapper and sell about 300 lbs per week. The guy also said copper is a novelty.
The copper I prefer is marked General Electric. Maybe I could get more value from a bag of manure in a nice package.
Lets go BRANDED!
Nice
So the moral is you way overpaid for that copper
Around 2010? copper was all the rage, remember seeing dudes on YT stacking the stuff, i wonder how they feel now.
I'm currently stacking all the unobtainium I can find locally!!!😊
Thanks for a good lesson !
Very cool Taras, thank you.
he should have paid you in pennies
copper pennies or zinc pennies?
"Questions " are like the assassins of jokes
I will keep that in mind to only buy or sell Coper that is graded and stamped . My SSI Check is $914.00 a Month So those pre 1982 Pennies and Stamped Coper is within my reach .
First time seeing copper barz cool still 💫✌🏾😎
i’m seriously considering copper bar stacking because it’s the main metal component for electric cars and will only increase in value now
Very cool! I didn’t know those things! Thank you!
This coin shop is in Asheville ?
Hi i need the coin store's name and adress. Could you help me?
WHY WOULD YOU SELL COPPER!!!!!!!? WILL cost MORE in five years! When electric vehicles are MORE on the roads! Since electric vehicles will use most copper.🤦🏼♂️

Long term investment opportunity missed if he did indeed sell them that's for sure.. and he lost half of what he originally spent ($250) so double lose
More reason to ban electric cars
Ladies and gentlemen, Ea-Nasir has returned
I understood that reference
Now is the time to buy metals, the next global financial meltdown will be in 2022.
Metals aren't a wise financial investment in 2021. Unless you're OK with earning .03 cents a year
I missed the meltdown. Waiting on it to have my new home built when cost to build goes down.
😂
did he say 31 grams in an ounce?
Yeah lol
which is correct 31.1 grams
Remember copper is aver do pois oz
@@ericktom still sold by troy oz
A regular oz is 28 grams, but 1oz troy is 31.1g
I am from Austria - and u pronounced "Geiger" completely correct at first try! ;) Switzerland and Austria is hardly the same :D

Copper is junk
Looks pretty though.
The stock market says different.
Geiger rhymes with "meager"
Geiger rhymes with 'tiger'.
Pre 1983 pennies buckets worth will be worth it in the coming years
What can you get for them now? I have 600 lbs of copper pennies.
Like 2.5¢ per penny. It really depends on who will buy it. People do sell rolls on Craigslist and Marketplace.
