@@leonardsheatravel we mean no disrespect but I am on his side I from here and the whole antelope Valley is miserable and depressing people here are rude not all of them but vast majority of them and crime is rising up it has not a single motivation vibe to me so when I left that area I was a happy positive person and my life changed.
To be fair, most people who have lived someplace their whole lives wind up hating it.

As someone that lived and worked in A.V. pre building boom and before LA Co sent all the sec 8 ppl up because no one down below would rent to them anymore, I can honestly say "They paved Paradise and put up a parking lot". It's a shame. If you had known A.V. before the late 80's you would have seen a completely different place. Now it's over crowded, over priced, crime riddled and plain dirty. Doesn't matter how you dress it up and market it, it's still now the butthole of the High Desert. 🇺🇸🙏✌
I remember what it use to be like. It was really nice and quite. Now it's riddled with homeless and the ghetto.

We've lived in Northern California for several years now and absolutely hate it. It snows from September till the end of June so we are considering buying land there to get away from the severe snow. It looks beautiful. I'll take hobos and dust over chest deep snow any day!
