One of the funniest episodes of the season after the last few episodes were dark this brought some lividity but also revealed the truth about the Trickster and about Sam and Dean’s destinies. Yeah Dr. Sexy was a spoof of Grey’s Anatomy, the police show was CSI Miami including the sunglasses and corny puns, Sam as the impala was a nod to Knight Rider, and I think there is a Japanese game show that did something like that except instead of questions you had to say a tongue twister correctly if not you’d get whacked in the soft spot. Also a fun fact the doctor who slapped Sam was in a previous episode the vampire episode in season one she was the kidnapped lady who got turned.
The Grey's nod included Denny's storyline and Denny was played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan aka John Winchester. Love that they included it for those who know both shows.
Yeah, Richard Speight Jr who plays the Trickster has been in a lot of shows, I think besides Supernatural he's best known for being in HBO's Band of Brothers which won a lot of Emmy's & Golden Globes. He's also really great friends with the guy from last season who plays Chuck the prophet. Both that actor & Speight go to all, or almost all, of the Supernatural Conventions & host & stuff, Speight along with some of the other actors host a costumed Karaoke night with the fans. Great reaction as always!
This was a fun reaction Dakara! I loved this ep of Supernatural. I think when it comes to the "Trickster" episodes, they are usually a hit because they have a great balance of silly, filler material and plot development. Not to mention, Richard Speight Jr's superb acting. I think your analysis at the end was spot on. Also, I thought it was so cute how you held your belly for a second during your analysis portion.
"I know there are so many seasons but how are they going to get out of this one" is practically my thought every season 😅 let's say, the way they do it this season (or do they 😏) is the reason why I love this season so much! (I hope that wasn't too spoilery) Also I get how you feel about those funny episodes, this one really confused me when I first saw it, but the more often I watch them, the more I love them! Great reaction as always ❤
9:02 You can see where you brain explode lol Dean = Michael Sam = Lucifer and Finding out "The Trickster" Is a Archangel Gabrel The Youngest to All The Archangels...😂 Priceless (No Spoilers) But seeing someone see this for the 1st time Awesome💯 and without giving Anything away You got some big Episodes soon👍 Great Job Keep up The Epic Content.
I was looking forward to this episode. Gabe is my one of my favorite angels. And Richard plays him very well. The question of how the boys survive season after season is always there, it never ends. And just think you still have 8 (almost 9) more seasons to watch before you're all caught up. ^^
The best part of monday ! I absolutely love this episode. Especially when we find out about Gabriel. I love the whole angel/archangel storyline. Be ready for the 2 next episode, especially episode 10
Gabriel is my all time favorite character on this show and I’m really happy you enjoyed his character!!! ♡ I’ve been waiting for your reaction for this episode forever! :D
And yeah, Richard is an amazing actor! We all love him! You can't not love that man! He and Jared stopped trains together once! Hahaha it's a fun story, you should watch the video one day (maybe even react to it. It's the train story... The one with Jared, Richard, Rob and Gen...)
I was so confused in my first time watching this episode but is one of my favorites! Gabriel is a really interesting character. 😘 Thanks for your reaction Dakara you are always so genuine ❤
This episode is all about "Playing your roles" as in the actual Tv land and also about "destiny" and what you are supposed to be and do even when you never asked to do it. Love the character of Gabriel and the "weird" episodes. :p
You seemed so confused lol. Loved it as always. Looking forward to more, wish they came out more often from you but I understand you are busy. Keep up the good reactions and take care
Although he's stated that the part of Gabriel has been his favorite role, I loved Richard Speight Jr. in Band of Brothers. He played one of the humorous misfits from Easy Company, Sgt. Warren "Skip" Muck.
8:38 is my favourite moment when gabriel says you think you 2 would be able to relate . And then tells them why there the vessels there relationship is so similar to michael and lucifer.
Yesss this is one of my season 5 favourites! Great reaction :D This is one of the 'quirky' episodes that I actually really love :) Showed it to my mum who's never watched Supernatural (and who doesn't really like scary shows or movies) and her reaction was just priceless! XD
Omg I wasn't paying attention and I didn't realize changing channels was next! This is such a great episode, classic supernatural in its severe tonal shift that somehow works. I mean, it's hilarious for most of the episode with a somehow seamless shift into serious, angsty plot! Beautiful! And a nice break from all angst, all the time
Great reaction! This is one of my favorite episodes because of how it's so funny but it has a serious turn at the end that doesn't seem forced. I also really love your theories at the end of each episode, this one especially. I'm excited to see the rest of your reactions to this season 😊
great reaction to a great ep D! I've alwyas loved this ep especially how well it fit in and at first seemed like a quirky motw ep, by at the end spelled out the creative narrative for the huge long plot playing out since S1. The meta/spoofs of the typical tv tropes was always a hoot, but then to bring in the Triclster and then reveal that he is in fact Gabriel, the archangel and at the end tie things together, and how it was supposed to be the brother's destinies to mirror Michael/Lucifer struggles/conflict, just soo good and creative and really enjoyed your reaction.... a big CTU for you, and keep em coming!
That type of sandwich used to be referred ti as a "Dagwood sandwich", after the character Dagwood Bumstead from the Blondie cartoon strip, and motion pictures.
To every video of you that I see you're getting more and more beautiful, my God 😍 this episode is very very good, one of my favorites this season, please post the 5x09 and 5x10 together 💚
for me,Gabriel is the wisest angel on SUPERNATURAL!for so many reasons! I mean they say, angels can't feel a damn thing the way humans do!I disagree on that!from what I've seen on this show, angels do have emotions like, love, fear, anger, loyalty(most of all)but unlike humans(who are complex natured creatures, who can have so many emotions in the same time which is controlled enough)they don't have an elaborate system to keep them in check!when they are loyal to someone(to God which is the reason of their creation and existence)they have nothing else to do,and will destroy anyone who questions them on that!the bad thing is that,God didn't controlled them!heaven did for thousands of years!when they get angry, frightend,it's so much more and unusual anger which humans can ever have!when they start to love something or someone, nothing else matters, even world can burn for the thing which they love!and fear!when they click on one emotion, unlike humans, they do not mix other feelings which makes them what they are!they only click on one thing and throw away the rest! Gabriel is the wise, experienced angel, who unlike his kind, lived among humans, their culture, and somehow learned how to control his angelic creation!and understand humans!Cas is also good, but he's still so newcomer and nothing close to Gabriel's knowledge!and that's why he's my favorite angel on the show

black sunglasses at night....those are the people you go up to and bit** slap them back into sanity
The doctor who slapped Sam (character's name was Jenny)/Sam slapping doctor reprised her role as Jenny in the series finale (15x20).

Yerbolat Dana Mine too! I sure hope he shows up again before the show’s final episode! Have you seen The Hillywood Show’s “Stranger Things Parody?”
And yeah, Richard is an amazing actor! We all love him! You can't not love that man! He and Jared stopped trains together once! Hahaha it's a fun story, you should watch the video one day (maybe even react to it. It's the train story... The one with Jared, Richard, Rob and Gen...)

I think everyone was waiting for you to react to this episode and you did not disappoint 😊😊😊😊
Changing Channels! Has to be my favorite out of the hundreds of episodes.
