Hello from the UK, new to you and your channel, looks right up our alley.....tea in the first 30 seconds!? Say no more, love being able to learn new things from different lands, you have some great trails. Catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ❤☕👍
I have been really getting into two things lately: tea and videos by Tea in Valhalla. Thanks, you two!
Favorite luxury item: a second inflatable pillow. I’m a side sleeper and it keeps my head better angled.
That’s a brilliant idea. I just added a pillow last year, but a second one would be a game changer for me. Thanks, Rolf!
Luxury (although feels essential to me) - mini pump for sleeping pad. Love it.
That's a great one! My sleeping pad has a pump integrated into the stuff sack and it's amazing!
Very nice videos!
Thank you! Yours, too! I am looking forward to catching up on your adventures!
@@OutsideComfortZone Thank you :)
These videos are great. I will be at twin lakes around 7/10 so will head east if the west is slow going with snow we shall see! See ya out there
I think we might cross paths out there near TL! Hope to get to meet you, Wade!
@@OutsideComfortZone agreed! I will keep an eye out. Few more weeks! Woohoo
Luxury item I’m considering: sonic toothbrush.
Ah, that's a great idea! Well worth the extra weight IMO!
Wow, you need a fishing license just to walk through an area. But I like you’re way of looking at it. Professional video.
Yeah! It's super frustrating but it's not the worst thing on the planet. How're things in your neck of the woods? Any kayaking adventures on your horizon?
@@OutsideComfortZone yes I hope to have some up soon. Got a few bigger trips planned too. Just fighting to find spare time lol
My irrational luxury item is a therma rest air pump for my sleeping pad. (weighs less than 3oz). Don’t judge me bro.🤷♀️
Thanks for the video!
Haha! Me and my 7 pairs of socks wouldn't dare judge you and your air pump!
Definitely on the dream bucket list! Thanks for the tips and info.
Absolutely! Thanks for the support, Larry!
Watercolor kit and paper!
Easily my favorite answer yet! Do you have any pictures of your paintings? I would LOVE to see what kinds of pictures you make in the backcountry!
@@OutsideComfortZone Thanks, I'm not really much good at it, but its fun to practice. I'll need to dig up, but not sure how to post on YT.
Buena Vista..."Bway nah` Vista."😉
That’s how you describe a beautiful view in Spanish, but the locals in Byoonah Vista will know you’re an outsider if you say it that way 😊
@@OutsideComfortZone, interesting.🤣 We have a Williamette Valley here in Oregon. When I first moved here I pronounced it "Will ah met." I was quickly corrected. It's pronounced "Will am it."
You are so well spoken in the videos that this pronunciation always caught my attention. Good thing too! I learn something everyday.😊
I am 100% certain I’ve mispronounced Willamette in my lifetime! Beautiful area out there. Hope y’all are staying safe during that heat wave!
Dont currently have one, but debating an Aero Press. I love(need) coffee, but I hate instant coffee soooooooooooooooo much.
Ah, yes! The great coffee issue. Two questions: have you tried Cafe Bustelo instant? It's the best of the instant options (which isn't saying a ton). Alternately, they make really tiny versions of the espresso kettles that I think are AMAZING as a luxury item. They make great coffee even if you aren't in the backcountry. Can't wait to hear what you decide to go with, and I 100% support all coffee-related luxury items!
Now I get what you mean by liking planning!!! I will be watching these all when I start planning for a section! Do you have a favorite section?
Thanks, BwB! I love the Collegiate West, Segment 4. Looking forward to catching up on your adventures soon!
Luxe item: wee hand held battery operated frother for morning coffee. Can't bear powdered cream lumps so a quick whisk and coffee is good to go. Socks...nah, a pair of merino injini socks can last me a week if paired with decent (read: dirty girl!) gaitors. Always carry a spare tho just in case! When are you starting out on the CT this year?
I might need to invest in one of those frothers! Headed out either the afternoon of June 30th or morning of July 1st super early. Absolutely cannot wait!
@@OutsideComfortZone frothier things not that expensive. Less than $10
@@melaniegarden3416 Got mind ordered! Thanks, Melanie!
