food was never a problem for me. the 30 firewood markets never supplying firewood despite me having 30 months of surplus was annoying tho
when my city of 300 people has half the population starving because my granary doesnt want to distribute the 2k veggies and 1k apples its kind of irritating
this is my issue with food stalls. market place had over like 15, but only 2 were doing shit.
it was horrible. (firewood also had like 15 stalls, like wtf ppl)
Build another granary? I don't know 🤷
Malty house still buggy, people just standing for transfer job
The trick with markets is 2 different markets will only stock items = to burgage number, but always supply nearest burgages, even if they are already being supplied by a different marketplace. So 2 markets next to each other with 15 wood each only supply 15 houses not 30.
Perfectly square/rectangle with 90 degree right angles are actually the best plots for me with regards to consistently huge farm plots with minimal wasted space.
Place the 1st and second points for the front of the house as small as you can in one of the corners. 3rd and 4th can vary but generally 3rd goes as far along as you can tracing the box until it drops and no longer traces the edge. Then fuck with the 4th for best results.
1 thing you may not realize is even after placing all 4 points you can still run your cursor along the edge and it will change the 'dividing line' for the backyard extension. As long as the front is on a corner you can do this to make sure that line is angled across the corner to give you minimum house and maximum farm space.
Thank god. Nothing more frustrating than. Having 800 food and it not getting to the people because foodstalls didnt stock up
I accidentally stumbled on the "baseball diamond" shape for certain burgage plots a few days ago. Great tip.
You and Strat have been godsends..
Thank you for the invaluable information.
Glad to help
Awesome, I need to install the patch as well!
Nice vid, quick and concise!. Really hope the devs give the Apiary a range soon, instead of locking it to just two per region, give it a huge circular pul range, so you could fit maybe 6 or 7 with some overlap with diminishing returns if they're too close and in each others range of influence.
That would be cool!
this is so fucked up - all my farmers, wook cutters, loggers and many others are going to work in the market even with the new 'Allow Market Stall Setup' turned off.
Any news if the Devs are going to fix this soon?
Thanks for the video!
You're welcome!
fast and informative video i like it :D
Your content for manor lords is top notch, but i keep starting over to make the new best design lol. Thanks for what you do.
Me too. I always feel like that I should have done it another way. But this is with most of the games that I play. I am having fun though.
Thanks. I'm on the new patch and its easier. I will try that "weird" plot size. Still don't know how they fill there stalls and how multiple marketplaces interact. looking forward to optimal setup.
*Keep hearing people say apple/veg farm that are big take more time. My question is so what? These people are already assigned else where doing their jobs
(only exception for me, is farmers. they need to have exclusive time from Oct-Nov. if they are on apples/veg, you need to assume only 1-3 people from that family will sow - which meant my perfect 8 family farmhouse needed 10-12 to ensure proper sowing)
The bigger they are the more time they spend traveling back and forth from the house to the next veg to harvest
great update. This is a literal game changer
Now the trade perks are broken. Traderoutes cost over 25 with perk and there's no more one price trading with better perks. Hope this will be fixed soon, cause it kinda breaks the trade perks.
I just installed the beta and it fixed nothing for me in regards to food. I even made smaller markets at four locations to try to meet the demand and no luck. Some house have nothing in stock even if there is a food stall right across the street. Why do we need so many stalls after all? Couldn't they all be managed by the granary and storage instead of by each producing building? That alone is making the game totally frustrating.
New game or old save?
nice!
You are the best, again and again :) What about merchants and transports between regions? Sorry, but I'm using my native language in game, so I can't tell the names in english, but I guess you can follow me. So, my problem that I have no money in my regions, I see plopping numbers above merchant building, but this money disappear most of the time and I can't upgrade my plots, without money it is a hard to do :D.
Is it happening because I had an older version save or is it for the new King Tax and is it maybe bugged out somehow?
They are allowing you to use the trade post to send goods between regions now! I’ll have to do some digging there
Stop any imports you have - king tax should only hit your treasury funds
@@TacticatGaming Yeah, do the digging, please. It is kinda blurry how is it working now. Do we have to pay for our own goods now, because it was transported by merchant, for example? It looks to me, but I hope I'm wrong. And I have no imports now, I switched off everything or at least on that region where I have no money - so how could I buy anything if I have no money? :D
@@pett3rson79 i think the trick is to make sure you're opening trade routes on hot value items
@@TacticatGaming Sure, without question, but again, I had literally no money to open trade routes even :) I think I ran into a bug or something. It worked out after many month, but I had to wait a lot and watching my money when I have enough in that microsecond, stop the game, spend it well and let it go again. It was a hard work, believe me :)
I should made a stream to have proof.
Honey should be an alternative resource for the brewery. Just like a joiner or armourer there should be an option to brew either ake or mead (once unlocked).
It would also be interesting if we could turn things like apples into cider or berries into wine. Possibly instead of berries we'd get vineyard backyards for growing grapes
@@starzykillstar7652 👍 It competes with your good supply but skips the extra worker/specialisation, so it's pretty balanced.
Trading Post is screwed up even with the better deal tree. Warbows cost 425 and I have the better deals.
They will be tweaking everything so I’d imagine this will be looked at
S tier update food guide
I'm *dying* to try the corpse pit designs... I'll show myself out...
Lol
My only issue with Tier three is that the house is too big. Looks silly.
So when do WE get it?
If you have steam you can opt into testing
Has the patch landed yet ?
In testing - instructions on steam only
@@TacticatGaming thanks. Looking forward to more content:)
I couldn't get the markets to supply 1/8th of my houses so stopped playing
We shall see how well things work now
Let’s call out those players that were defending the bugs, broken stuff and poor design. They are like a zealous cult.
It's like when someone shows you a hole in their foot and a giant worm inside and say they don't need to see a doctor.
I come back when they fix AI.
Was the food an actual problem for people!? 😂😂
Food was an issue when i first started, But now its imported Ale.
@haknoo1981 true. It was the market supply that got me at first
Yippee.... patched after I just watched your video about the food order and markets etc... and even more YIPPEE... I'm on Game Pass so the update isn't available yet.... 😆😆😆
my issue with the game, it was horrible.
your cross city design, never ever worked for me... 8 graneries, food stalls were ever stocking properly
Not for Epic Games customers who paid the same money, but dont get the patch.. thanks Slavic Horse.... ill take my second class money eleswhere.
Dude you gotta stop sayign "They implemented" it's HE implemented lol
My understanding is that it is now they.
It’s always been they - read the credits - two other programmers he contract work out to - the solo dev thing is a marketing ploy
That's not true. It was a solo dev for about 5 years then when hooded horse got involved a couple other developers were hired.
