Dime used a Floyd Rose and those (along with Fenders) use a wider pickup so that the pole pieces align properly. I've been wondering which standard an Evertune would use, and I think your troubles with the dimebucker serve to answer that question.

We'll see how they hold up though.
Hey man great video. I have a question. I own a solar A1.6 FRC and it sounds amazing. Recently i bought a V2.6 White and it sounds muffled and not so clear unlike my A1.6. Did your guitar sound muffled too with the custom pickups? Is this one of the reason you changed the pickups? What i don’t understand is as per website the pickups on A1.6 and V2.6 are same and yet they sound so different. The same pickup sounds great on my A1.6. I am considering now changing the pickups. Could you please suggest a pickup where i would not need to rework the cavity to get a perfect fit. Thanks in advance.
Hi mate, try adjusting the pickup height (Google how to measure and set correct pickup height). They are not the best factory fit pickups for clarity so I always change them. Unfortunately it's a lottery on straight swapping them without having to do extra routing. I have had to route extra space every time even for a Dimebucker that should be a straight swap. Others report no routing needed at all.
