I just finished all 3 movements of Vivaldi violin concerto in a minor with no prior shifting experience. I feel like this is going to be the perfect, and fairly simple piece to hop on to next. Thanks so much! Will definitely be printing out this sheet music ASAP! Vielen dank, tchuess!

thank you - that was wonderful - as you were playing certain parts I was hearing the accompanying descending lines in my head. Is it indicated on the music which notes to vibrato or is it the player's choice?

    • @Violinspiration

It is your choice where to play vibrato.🤩

Fantastic! I never knew this piece included so many double stops. In the orchestra they sound like divisi. Thanks for clarifying that. As an arranger, I don't know the violin well enough to write double stops. Books usually recommend including one open string. As far as I can see there are double stops with both notes fingered. Not easy....

@@Violinspiration it's ALWAYS amazing that you say that.
I'm working on the Vivaldi summer.
that simplified version ARRANGED by you.
I put my violin back in the case. I take it out each time BECAUSE I need the extra heat on and I don't want to take any chances: dry air.
      Haha no sleeping with it.
Putting it away each time just shows I'm really increasing in my motivation because I have a specific attainable piece to practice. A GOAL that I'm enjoying. On line 11 the half note D# is so rewarding when I get to it.🤷‍♀️❤
So far the metronome makes me lose my concentration but I'm staying faithful and slow.

I would always recommend trying to buy a second hand instrument. Try your local music shop, or anywhere they sell second hand instruments.

@@Violinspiration thanks. Im learning it from your fingerings and from another video combined. and I think Im getting a comfortable left hand, specialy in third position. I still have one doubt. Like, when a sheet music has absolutely no indication of when to change positions, am I free to change the fingering however I want, to be comfortable, or are there any rules? thanks for sharing btw

Hi! Can I ask for some help? I’m still a beginner violinist and I don’t fully understand how it can be that a violin has four strings, but then it is possible that there are up to eight pitches in a sheet music, but there are only four strings on a violin.

Hello Julia! I love your videos and how you play the violin is simply inspiring!!🤩🥰
That's why I wanted to tell you that a few months ago I also played the violin and loved it, my classes were very tedious because it didn't come out the way it should... Other things happened too, and I stopped going to my classes. I have the violin on one side in my room and I haven't played it for months. And that frustrates me because I liked it a lot but I'm in a block and I don't know how to get out... I want to continue playing the violin but I just can't find the motivation, because I remember how tedious it was and how it came out to me and I just don't love myself lock again. I want to play the violin and enjoy its exquisite melodies... But I don't know how to get out of this deep blockage that I've been inside for months. I hope you can help me with some tips or if something similar happened to you, how did you get out of that blockage. I would appreciate it very much. Love u❤❤
