Stupid people. Then they trip on something baby gets hurt and don't try to sue. Wait in boat. Things break down. Car breaks down once in awhile you deal with it.
This right here. He'll do something stupid like this, then if he gets hurt, he sues Disney, and some court will award him money for his stupidity.
I don’t blame him, being stuck for 25 mins with a 7 month old was enough for me.. no thanks
I was stuck in a gondola for at least that one summer due to the cable drive system overheating at Blue Mountain Resort near Collingwood, ON. The gondolas require you to stand versus during Winter when the ski lift bench seats are used or these boats in the Pirates ride. I guess I didn't have a seven month old but endangering a child by walking in water with potential hazards is not a good idea. Also, who would bring an infant on a ride like that? It's not like they would remember or enjoy the ride, if anything, the gun blast sound effects would just make the kid wail like a small air raid siren.
Virtue signaling. All of you. So concerned about the baby unless she is in her mothers womb.
It’s his child. If he wants to have his baby in his arms and do whatever the hell he wants, he can. His baby was probably starving and needed a diaper change and needed rest without 20 other kids screaming and crying.
So many people in RUclips comment sections make up stories and rumors about these things
Why not go live on that pirate ship instead
The pirate ship doesn't have a head.
The Most Important thing he said was, " if it was smoking you would have already got me out" TRUE!!! THE TITLE SHOULD BE MAN REMINDS DISNEYLAND WORKERS AND FIREFIGHTERS TO BE PROFESSIONAL.
If this guy was a character in a movie hed be my favorite character in that movie
What did he want them to do? Brainstorm a way to suddenly make every part of that ride suddenly operate normally?
He wanted to get his child out after 2 hours, everyone was stuck for 4 hours total and in the end they had to walk in the water out...
Wtf ? You ever hear of emergency exits or employee entrances/exits?
If he would of cried and complained they would of helped him out but since he is being masculine everything tumbled for people like you to make dumb comments like this 😅
How about a machine operator that actually does their job ?? Or an engineer that works the machines ?? Maybe *Qualified* individuals ? The people who WORK there doing their job ??? They know the exists, what’s safe and all that and still manage to fail this massively.
@@cruelcimmcia859 hey guess what though…. A broken ride can be a number of reasons wrong. You can’t just call someone and they fix it in a snap. For all we know maybe they thought it was an easy fix but it unraveled to being worse before they finally called it to escort them out. Think about that huh
As a parent, hearing your baby cry activates partial hormones that will quickly make a parent do whatever they think is best to keep their child "safe" or look out for it's wellbeing.
With that being said, I don't necessarily think it was the smartest move but it would be mad not not to also consider that. He thought that was best,
He was desperate...
Safe choice ...no. But at the end of the day he was a frustrated father with a distraught very young child, who felt they were not helping and escalating the situation by taking it lightly.
No its not a roller coaster so urgency was less. But trapped is trapped and you dont anyone mental health issues or stress points. I dont think he was impatient.
Yea, people fail to account this man is a father. Had his kids weren't there, he wouldn't have acted so rash. Disney should not trap children like this. It is very irresponsible for the company
They gotta have a better process of getting people off this damn ride.. it’s Disney for fucksake.. a fuckin inflatable mini rescue boat would have solved this problem with ease. He’s right.. shit is “preposterous”
Hope.these.people got dinner on disney at the very least or free tickets but that I DOUBT
They normally do give you something for your troubles yes. But if you break their rules and don't listen to instructions then no. That guy got banned. I saw security escorting him out near the entrance. He was making it worse by cussing people out lol. I don't think he'll be getting a refund hahaha
@@N.G.H.they deserve to be cussed out for putting people through that and expecting them to be sheep and sit for 4 hours. At least he has autonomy.
They gave us a free lightning lane pass that wasn't even valid on all the rides, yesterday me and my wife where stuck on there for over an hour
Clean your phone lense’
honestly don't really blame him. He got tired of waiting and decided to take matters into his own hands and it does look like he was able to leave much faster than if he just continued sitting there. Im sure they kicked him out of the park though
Dude they BANNED him, for life
Don't blame him
Thats a leader and a father right there. Make decisions to protect your family.
Lot of people these days are soft and scared to get to trouble.
N the baby have no clue whats going on..n they certainly want be allow back smh..what he slip n fall with the baby.
OH MY GOD HE WALKED THROUGH WATER SO TERRIBLE!!!!😱🙄😒
Some people are really stupid and never learn, I hope that guy gets banned, Disney has rules for their parks for a reason and people need to follow the rules and not just do what they feel like doing because that guy could’ve gotten hurt or he could’ve dropped his kid in the water SMH
They’re not bringing there best…
Apparently some folks don't spell THEIR best too. 😅😅😅

I am 100% on this guys side!
Man child crying.
I can’t blame him…he reminds me of my husband in this moment; doing the most unpopular thing and going against the grain for the sake of his child…there are a lot of Jose’s out there and I say, keep going against the grain for your children…
If the ride turned on him and his child's could've gotten seriously injured. This man was an idiot putting his child into danger for attention
he was doing it for himself. the baby wasnt even crying as he just dangerously steps into water at which he didnt even know the depth nor can see through. then acted like a fool and sounded like a kid with how he talked all whiney
Where would he go? Like others have said, if they turned ride on and started moving, there are bursts of water all over in that section. Too late once he's disoriented and drops baby.
@@tonithetiger6226Probably had too much to drink at the Blue Bayou.
@@gabrielaragon5387 Some rides at that park have turned on people; a rope jerked a cleat off a ship and the cleat ended a person's life when it hit him in the head. A cleat is an object to which a boat is tied so it doesn't go floating away.
Incorrwct info it was 4 hours not 1
No, it was only 1, because that’s how long I and him waited (he got off with me). 4 hours is probably how long the ride was down altogether
Yt people in the comments mad that bro took initiative lmao y’all love displaying y’all’s bias at any possible chance
Big deal, he got off the boat with his son in 2 ft of water. Some people just like to think for themselves. This whole idea about "pipes" and "danger" is BS. Dude got outta there because he waited too long, so what
There’s a ride at playland in rye New York similar to this. You don’t get out because of the mechanical parts that move under the boat. A kid got out at playland, got snagged onto the under part of the boat and was completely crushed. If that boat turned back on and dude was in the water they both could have died. Happens FAST.
@@BasedGodGotenks well, I guess that answers my concerns 😂
If I was there I would say to him “ if you hate Disney’s policies then go to universal, six flags or knotts, they have better workers” that I would say it as a trick
“And have better attractions for your child”
I hope this guy got a lifetime ban from the park for what he did.
Tape worm peeking out my bussy like 👀
Fool didn’t do shit just walk with his baby that fool protecting his own and I don’t blame him y’all make it seem he dropped the baby
This ain’t a guy, it’s a foo
I’m sure Disney gave his whole family “Banned for life” slip to him after they gave him and his family the boot
I hope this guy was smart enough to actually never go back anyway. Not many people like that.....the Disney adults need disney so bad it's pathetic.
😂🤣 I’m glad I want there because I would have caused a whole fucking scene on why the ride wasn’t working 🤣🤣 shiii all ik is that customers are not gonna fuck up my Disney land experience.
I have a baby at that age too and fyi they get hungry, dirty diapers, and wanting to sleep every 3-4 hours.
This clearly already passed the limit
Full of cringe. Get them forever out. No excuse at all
That dude is prolly on crank
All I have to say, I see why the older generation did what they did.
You don't take a kid that age to Disney world. The kid not gonna remember anyway. What your going to ask your son do you remember Disney world. Also taking infant to the movie, I don't understand. Old generation waited till you got older, then they went back to the movies, dumb. I know I know times are changing. Still dumb
Fair points but it doesn't dismiss blame on Disney on the way they handled this
@@buster5661 Disney handle it just like anyone else would handle it. You can have a contingency plan in place for when something break down, but who going to remember it, even if you practice it too, at which point when it does happen, nobody knows what to do, cause it hardly happens. Really think about it, how often things break down. Your car can break down today, leaving you stuck out. Also let say your battery on your phone dies, at which point you have to pull yourself together and keep moving forward, Disney did nothing wrong in handling this situation. Just bad timing. If things broke down everyday we would have nothing to worry about, cause we would know how to handle them. Everyday is a lesson. Hopefully they can come up with something. Don't bring newborns to Disney.
Also everyone looking for a reason to blame someone. Everybody made it out alive, that's a good day.
@@Ugandaman144 I mean, I don't really agree. Disney, like any other company, should be doing practice drills for when something bad happens. In addition to that, this ride breaks down at least once a month; so how the hell did they take so long to evacuate
@@Ugandaman144 also to your second point. For your standards of "making it out alive", it's possible that this child had a diaper filled with poop that would be starting to start an infection if it wasnt changed soon, for one example.
I agree that I would not bring my baby to a theme park, but Disney taking an hour to evacuate when there's children on board is ridiculous regardless

Prolly handing out free tickets at the border , anyone paying the outrageous full price to go to these places wouldn’t act a fool and chance getting thrown out . Privilege right there.
Why is this so controversial 😂the dad was in the right and after almost 2 hoirs i would do the same.... and the dude is more than likely 100 percent in the right.... the employees (knowimg how lintards are there) were probably just talking and laughing amognst themselves wich is very infuriating afyer almkst 2 hours and the baby is crying, with how expensove these tickets are they should never have made ppl wait this long especially is a baby is crying theu should be attentive and provide other options for those parents.
Hi, there, I'm glad he did all right. Water is an excellent conductor of electricity. I wonder if there was any chance he would get zapped.
