I want to agree with you, but at the same time, I think it makes Stolas seem more selfish in a different way because Viv removed the lines where he sings about hurting Octavia by trying to be with Blitz in the first place. Additionally, in her animation you can see that Blitz is never shown with a face? Which to me speaks to the fact that he still has no real identity in Stolas’s eyes outside of his body. Idk tho, your thoughts?

@@katrinespeaksinsilence i think that octavia not being mentioned is not selfish at all!! their issues had already been resolved, and since this was a stolitz focus song, it's likely she wasn't brought in just to make the song a little less convoluted and give it a clearer, single direction. i also think blitz does not have a face because stolas simply cannot see blitz. stolas recognized that blitz is suffering, but blitz always holds his suffering on the inside and never opens up to stolas. there are many things in the mv that otherwise show how stolas sees blitz as an equal being with his own feelings, or at least "does not care that he is of lower station."

In the first version it’s almost as if he’s upset with Blitzø along with kinda thinking about himself too. The second version is like Stolas just wanting to see Blitzø happy and trying to accept that what he wants might not be what Blitzø wants.

The more I watch this series, the more I feel that the best thing is that they don't have a relationship, it's too toxic and they are never in harmony, sometimes Blitz degrades himself and hurts himself in an unhealthy way and now it's Stolas with this unhealthy obsession with Blitz , where he says he will accept Blitz's decision, that he will wait for his love to be reciprocated, while he sinks deeper and deeper into unhappiness, mediocrity, depression. Indeed, there are relationships where the best thing for both parties is that it doesn't happen, romance is not always good and insisting on a failed relationship will be its sweet poison.
