They still killed people and destroyed a nation it doesn't matter how they feel about themselves rather they where forced because instead of owning up to it they pretended like they were not the one to destroyed the nation and even if they were forced to destroy the nation it would still make them horrible people you think they would at least have some morals to include that they were the ones in the history if they actually did destroy it if they destroyed the nation feelings are pretty much irrelevant that's all you need to know is that they wipe people out like flies by orders

venti is the most lovable archon, though I feel all bad for the three ( only naming the three that were shown in game with lore. ) that they’ve lost people/things. venti lost his friends, zhongli lost guizhong, ei lost makoto and way more..
Or possibly even no weapon at all, technically no one with elemental powers, even vision users, NEED weapons to use their abilities 🤔 and Venti _is_ a god It's some nice food for thought tbh! I do want to adress something though, so I hope you won't mind. A common misconception is that the all of the Archons being involved in the destruction of Khaenri'ah is a fact. Now while we do know that some of the Archons were involved such as Makoto but it's unknown whether all of them were because as far as we aware at the moment, in the lore, Venti's only involvement in the cataclysm was his and Dvalin's battle against Durin. Also another misconception is that the people of Khaenri'ah are completely innocent and that Kaeya is still loyal to the fallen nation. For one, if the whole thing about Gods striking down any nation without a god is true then both Mondstat and Liyue would've been struck down. Mondstat because Venti doesn't rule and the people are mostly independant and Liyue because Zhongli is retired/presumed dead. The reason why Khaenri'ah got destroyed is supposedly because of the sins of Rhendottir/Gold, she created the abyss monsters (not abyss order, the abyss and the abyss order are different) and those monsters brought a disaster to the whole world, so as punishment, Khaenri'ah was struck down. Yes, Celestia is not all good either with the whole 'second who came' thing and invading the world of the seven sovereigns but that's a story for another time. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Fanfic idea or just theory: what if Venti didn’t actually leave Mond cause he has “freedom” and stuff but was held captive by someone/something cause he made enemies during the war. Imagine him getting out and going to preach freedom, under the facade of a carefree bard- when in actuality he’s a resentful God. Don’t think that’s true but it’s a cool story idea. Might write a one-shot in the future if I get inspo :>
