Ok this is not meant to be a rant but isn't Death apart of freedom? Stanley says that his friend died where the winds did not blow so his spirit could not move on, Venti helped Stanley's friend move on, in terms of Gods of death Venti is most like Thanatos rather than the Furies, (just for anyone wondering Thanatos collects souls that died peacefully while the furies were found on the battlefield as they were violent creatures and I BELIEVE(need to reread the lore on the furies so I apologize if I get this wrong) would sometimes cause death in battles for there own amusement. I don't know why everyone seems to be in agreement that no one else knows he's a death god when a regular citizen (Stanley) knows that the wind collects the souls, to me its kind of strange, and it seems everyone makes it like he's evil rather than a peaceful god like Hades or Thanatos (both in mythology standpoints are some of the most chill gods in Greek mythology) But all things aside i loved the video the reactions were great, there was alot of talking not just facial changes, and they seemed very in character with there game counter parts great job

Ok five months late but I agree with both of your statements Death is a sort of freedom to one’s who are like tethered to the world Vienti in turn helps them by guiding them to their final resting place where they see everyone they cared about (if they are already dead) in this happy place. Another thing is death is a natural part of life everything will die just like plants and animals, bacteria also die (because of us but besides that point). Death should be something that people need to understand more. Other then being scared of the future we should learn about it and conquer our fears by ourselves. I believe all people of Mondstadt doesn't actually think Barbatos is the god of death, they just believe that when you die, the wind will guide you back home. Venti is not capable of guiding souls into the "afterlife", only to bring them back to Mondstadt. I believe this doesn't apply to the other nations. If it does apply to the other nations and all of Teyvat, then that would confirm Venti is the god of death. But Venti is not. Ronova is.
Ok, a lot of people are confused about the god of death theory don’t think of venti as an actual god of death think of him as a guide to the afterlife kinda like Anubis, he isn’t *the* god of death he is *a* god of death
I get so mad when a person from Mondstandt in these videos are mean to Venti, especially after they find out hes their archon. Hes the god of freedom, of course hes gonna be laid back, yet you ridicule him for doing nothing when hes a major reason on why the city is so free.
