Man I can’t believe it was 50 years or more ago that Jim and I used to go to the Jersey pool rooms and hustle shooters. Great times . Great person and good fun. Yea I’m 78 and we both grew up and hung out in Scranton, Pa. 😊
Dont know much about straight pool nobody played it while I was growing up but I have to say this video makes me want to try it out a day a week very easy to learn the right patterns watching a game like this must say my heart was pounding during the last 20 minutes thanks for the upload Pat awesome content
What is with that Allen Hopkins stroke, he has no backswing, it's maybe 2 inches, it's a poke stroke, almost no backswing, and the strangest thing I have seen in my 39 years of playing high level pool. I currently play in the ACS pool league in the Masters division. I have 8 MVP awards and 2 city championships in the last 8 years of play since 2016.
@@boxlaxtv5891 Rodney Morris has a stroke almost the same, with very little backswing, but still not like the Hopkins poke stroke, it is clearly something only he does.
I get real tired of hearing what Grady is going to do Grady this what I would do or what I would do you don't why are you sitting up in the announcer booth

Thanks as always, Pat. This is yet another confirmation that 14.1 is the Championship Game.
What happens if the break ball is left where the 14 balls need to be placed?
Thanks Pat. Loved both of these players.
Love watching this classic style. Hopkins nearly consistent stun game is fascinating to watch.

That’s what I’m talking about ….great match
Thanks behind the back Pat !)
I can’t believe that Hopkins could sink any ball. Terrible fundamentals but he just keeps making them
King James one of the best mental games ever in pool always gave himself a chance to win with a positive attitude.
Hi these commentors are a genuine and know there sport. What a historical artifacts . Post more videos. Thanks.
Allen Hopkins' stroke just cured my hiccups.
Wow, what a game that was. I was on the edge of my seat for the last half hour.
thank you patrick!
They must be playing on a shot clock. I don't remember ever seeing Rempe get around the table that fast!
