@@jimvalim1567 Matchroom is doing a good job but I like the commentary of the old pros the most. Don’t even get me started on how BAD the Predator Commentary has been! They need to go a new route with a lot of things. To spend that much $$ on their own tables and to have them play so badly says a lot in my book. Testing is the easiest part of R & D! First it was the tables which still don’t play rite. Now it’s the new racks that are the issue? I don’t think they test their products with players. They get them to market to make that mighty dollar and that is gonna hurt them in the long run in my opinion. I guess they need me on the team to clear the products before launch…….lol
@@HillbillyIslandLife I just want to see full matches! Sometimes matchroom only shows highlights. That's what I don't like about matchroom. Other than that it's ok.
It seems like more people attended the older, treasured matches than they do nowadays. All eyes fixated on the players; no cell phones to look at back then. Miz and Buddy were as smooth as Tennessee whiskey.
Can we assume Incardona is paid "by the word " ? ....Grady adds a meaningful comment , (or some humor ,) while the other commentator says certain words some 6 or 8 times a rack . However : we can forever thank Mr Incardona for suggesting the addition of commentary to Accu-Stats videos !
Our Corner Pocket here in Widefield, Colorado just got rid of the last table seen here. Don't think there is anymore of them in Colorado Springs CO! I never met Mizerak...have met Mosconi and played against him as a child in Canon City CO!
The table is so raggety at 31:51 the 7 ball moves about 1/5th rotation, by itself, into the big hole they put the 1 ball in when racking! Love the commentary, and both players.
When people used to go after buddy for money they lose sometimes you wonder if Buddy lost these matches on purpose in tournaments so to give people false sense of security like they have a chance to beat him then with money on the line in the back room he would slaughter them. He is the best 9 ball player ever.
I’m a Jersey boy and of course I’m always gonna root for the Miz but Buddy Hall was one of my favorites and he is a great announcer as well.. and I’m not taking nothing away from Billy and Grady cause I love those guys just as much
*EXCELLENT COMMENTARY. TWO DIFFERENT VIEWS ON EVERYTHING. COULDNT AGREE ON ANYTHING. LOVED GRADY MATHEWS TO OTHER GUY: I HAVE BEEN RIGHT A PREPONDERANCE OF THE TIME, WHILE YOU CONTINUE TO MISLEAD OUR LISTENERS. FANTASTIC GRADY MATHEWS*
Sitting here watching these two and listening to Grady and ??? I can't help but go back in time to tourneys troubles and travel. Hearing Swansons name and Louies I can remember clearly the last time I saw them and where.🤔
The Mizz's closed bridge -mini.. on the rail, rather than a cushion rest, like a lighter index finger caress/loop . . . one of the other subtle style factors that made him the better player 99/100 matches.
Look how the audience clapped after he totally crapped the 6-ball in... like that was exactly how he played it. 🤨 I worked a pro-tour stop in 1993 in Dallas. One of the matches I had to score was Mizerak and a guy named Fox. Back then they would account for every ball and which pocket it dropped into. I was positioned just like this camera angle. There were several times that I couldn't see the balls because Mizerak was so damn wide. Once I had to just guess nearly an entire rack because of the way the balls were laid out, Mizerak barely had to move after the break.
As far as racking the balls, I've found that if I take the head ball out of the rack, like racking 14:1, and center the spot in the apex of the rack, and then put the one ball in the rack, they usually stay froze. As long as the balls are the same size, that is.
Buddy cue look too short....I wonder if too short is better than "Now adays too long with an extension" - Probably these short cues feel like a part of your body and it makes it really good to play with them.
The Miz and the Rifleman!!! With Billy and Grady in the booth!!
Thank you!!!
This channel really is a goldmine
Better than matchroom!
I love the older matches!
The best channel on RUclips! PERIOD

TBF, there was no RUclips then.
These two giving each other a hard time is hugely entertaining
Bill is def the antagonist. lol
High as hell watching this I have no idea whats going on but this commentary is incredible.
I learned so much watching these big guys hit the ball gently with a stroke. It doesn’t take much......20 years of playing, and I just realized this.
u guys will never know how much joy these videos bring
Grady v. Billy - my favorite rivalry
1992 this is timeless

More Hall, Miz, Shannon Daulton, thank you Pat

the two most beautiful strokes you will ever see.
Amazing to watch these two big men play the game with such precision, grace and smoothest strokes you could ever watch!
These treasure videos are just awesome. 🤟
YES! I love these Treasure matches

Two of the greatest strokes of all time.
That's exactly what I was gonna comment, you beat me to it!😉👍

@5:22 How can a pool player not love Grady's commentary
Love all the matches you upload pat thank you especially the older matches
hate to tell you this bad but he passed today
@@scottbranson7872 what are you talking about ?
Pete Fleming passed away today, Pat’s brother.
RIP Pete.
Glad you like them!
Great video quality for 1992.
I last played buddy back in 92 in Oklahoma City. It was an honor to finally get to play him.
He taxed that ass, didn’t he?
I've said it once and I'll say it again. Thanks for all you do Pat!! We appreciate you.
Great vi! I love watching these LEGENDS!
Four legends! Doesn't get much better than this.
I’m a Jersey boy and of course I’m always gonna root for the Miz but Buddy Hall was one of my favorites and he is a great announcer as well.. and I’m not taking nothing away from Billy and Grady cause I love those guys just as much
Great match between two legends. Mizerak played nearly flawless pool.

I'll agree with the Grady part.
the strokes of both players - magnificent...blessings to all
Relaxing commentary.
Tuesday is turning into my favorite day of the week!
Thanks for all the posts!
Enjoy!

Great thanks for this also living proof that the best player doesn't always have to win plus Buddy gets the worst rolls of any body
RIP "The Miz"

29:22 Watch the chalk jump off the table when Buddy breaks.... 😄
This was probably the last time ever that Buddy was officially "the skinny guy." 😆
Buddy is still alive too believe it or not....77 yrs old....sadly we've lost mizerak long ago tho 😢
Can we see the finals match between Earl and Miz? Will be great next Tuesday night!!!
2 of my favorites right there. I mean how can you root against them
Billy “Captain Obvious” Incardona!
Buddy just stubborn and gave away the match.
If you see a guy making the corner ball on the break, drop the ego and copy.
Do you guys have the finals match from this tournament????
Table have a weight limit?😅😮
The Miz was f-ing bad ass
Thanks Pat your the man
Thank you!
Thanks again for a great vid. Grady mentions that the winner of this match plays Stickland in the final - is that on tape? Thx again…
Yes, it is!
@@AccuStats Then load it up Pat. (Replied on the other comment and had to re-reply here!).
thank you
You're welcome
Great match! Thanks for sharing! At 31:51 the 8 or 7 ball moves by itself! I can’t tell which it is lol the ball near the 9.
The Miz the Master! I'm guessing this match was early probably first one of the day.. Miz was sharp with energy..
Pure GOLD!
At 24:40, I would have loved to see Buddy attempt the 3 rail kick combo to make the 9 down in the left hand corner.
@31:51 what happened to the 7 ball?
Look how the audience clapped after he totally crapped the 6-ball in... like that was exactly how he played it. 🤨 I worked a pro-tour stop in 1993 in Dallas. What is Steve doing here 10:05? I see pool players do this but don’t know what it is. I’m new to pool.
He's marking how many games he's won. That's what those beads up there for
Can anyone else tell that Billy is getting irritated with Grady?
31:51 Why did the seven ball move???????????????????
Maybe it's the video resolution, but is Buddy playing with a glue on ferrule like a cheap bar cue?
bludworth
Steve Mizerak vs Earl? What? When?
Look at the power in 7:6 from the eight to the nine
Cardone and the professor could give Mark Wilson and Jeremy Jones the 7 maybe the 6 in commentating. Probably the same spot if they played
😂
I got to play against Steve in 1998. It didn't go well.
I love how the chalk went flying at 29:23
“We played 12 to 14 hours a day for seven days straight and I don’t think we missed three makeable balls between us.”
Funny how good we used to play.
2:25 mizo was like effin who?
7:55 😂😂😂
Typhoon vs. earthquake.
HIS NAME AUGHT TO BE STEVE MISTARAK
59:51 What is wrong with his head? xD

"Apex ?"
Can't handle the commentary , always trying to one up each other !!!
Typical two pool hall wise guys!🤣
Miz beat Rags and Grady beat Billy!
Great match but Grady gets annoying sometimes when he is negative and strokes his ego
Buddy cue look too short....I wonder if too short is better than "Now adays too long with an extension" - Probably these short cues feel like a part of your body and it makes it really good to play with them.
motorboating?
代々…カラダがテップリの人は、玉がやっこい😊
I ran mo rack than Steve Mizerack
Steve has a crick in his neck when he breaks
Bill has ruined many matches by just commentating
Talk about full of tortillas...
Is the finals after this available? I'd love to watch it.
