Thats actually sad how a company can make you thinking that you get something new, which is literally 10 years old.
That’s the problem with certain users and not the company. As someone who’s still using a 5-year-old iPhone 7 running on IOS 12, I don’t care about all those “new” features. I just need a consistent and durable phone that can work for years, and it’s serving me well.

I recently was asked to set a custom ringtone from an elderly lady whose son had gifted her an iPhone (she had been using android), a clip of a local song, not one you can buy on the ringtone store.
It took two hours, a computer running itunes and conversion software, because ringtones need to be in an special format and must be clipped to 40 seconds or less. There's also no way to do this from the phone itself, you can use websites to clip and convert the file (beware both I tried create invalid files which do not work properly), but you can't set them as a ringtone from the phone itself, it has to be done from iTunes to place them in the blessed ringtone folder or something.

In Korea, consumers similar to Apple's customers are called the "concrete layer." As you might guess, it refers to consumers who will buy the product no matter what is done to it. Apple has cultivated this concrete layer very well since the days of Steve Jobs. Android: *"That's the neat thing... you don't"*
What about the ai
@@PomegranateJuiceSmoothie samsung also have AI before them
@@newbplaygames what ai at the level Apple is adding them
@@newbplaygames everybody had AI before samsung. Samsung AI is mostly just old tech packaged again and presented as new. Great example is the circle to search that samsung was pushing hard, and a lot of people just went crazy over, which is just google lens that has been out for 7 years already.. AI has been around for ages long before the "ai craze" happened, now it's just a marketing buzz-word that is unreasonably effective
@@PomegranateJuiceSmoothie Gemini. Already has some small surface level integration via the old Assistant hooks.
jaw dropping feature that has been in android for decades but they still eat that up
Did you know they recently added a calculator app to their iPads? Yeah! It's a cool new feature that will come with iPadOS 18!
I wish I was joking 😂
@@pandamilkshakedon't even understand why iPads have not had a calculator app when the phones have had it for years.
Same vibe as bubsy 3d listing extra lives as a feature on the back of the box. They're grasping.
It's like comparing next generation game graphics to the game with previous generation graphics
Apple engineers be really thinking they coming out with tops tier ideas 😂
Smartphones can't really be improved upon that much anymore so they add all this this stuff and market it as groundbreaking just so they can justify their salaries
*Apple stock surges by $10-$30 dollars before release date*
iphones are yesterday's tech at tomorrow's prices
Android users were truly living in the future and didn't know it😂😂😂😂
Lol I can set my wallpaper aswell, and there is a point that icons have color.. We'll hey if it keeps em happy..
Now they can finally fix alarm app, which is still unable to play custom songs. 😅🤯
I love how it took them 15 years to change 5 lines of code probably to allow apps to be placed anywhere on the home screen lol
Not 5
But yes.
They were lazy
They do the same as google with android. They hold back features so they can drip them into the os over long periods of time. It's a mature market, there isn't much more to develop so they make sure they at least have something to release. Like that laughable android where they change the color a little depending on your background. Or samsung ai where one of the new features was just some clicks faster to access google lens. All arguably nice updates, but ones that are stupidly easy to implement and it's obvious they are holding back stuff just to be slow about it
your comment doesn’t make sense, is there any proof that they started 15 years ago? i’m not in a side but reading comments like this is trash
@@retiwker the phone market community is like a road. Blind apple followers are in one ditch getting muddy and messed up, and people like this are in the other ditch rolling around in the mud laughing at the people in the other ditch. Both sides are just as delusional
Wow you finally can choose where to put the icons? What's next? App drawer and only have the apps you actually need on the home screen? Maybe multiple copies to be able to put in separate groups?
iOS has had an app drawer for years now? We also been able to have multiple of the same app icons for a while now as well.
@@ethanmyers6406 oh, nice! I've been away from iOS for a long time. Good to know they fixed these annoying things. I hated not being able to put the icons closer to where I needed them and being forced to have everything on the home screen
As I always say, if it's a good feature, there is no shame in copying.
The equivalent of vehicle dealerships that still have "power windows, locks and seats" as a "feature."
The beginning of the video killed me 😂
Just waited for this😂 I was thinking about how many memes will this generate😅
I was just laughing like that dude 😂
Same lmao 🤣
The laugh I just had😂😂
They finally "Innovated" customisable homescreen.
