English pronunciation can be tricky, and not only when you want to say something in English, but when you want to listen to someone speaking English. It’s a point about how we speak and how the sounds we speak are often different from how the words are spelled. Today, we’re going to look at the natural pronunciation of the contractions, I’ll, He’ll, She’ll and They’ll. I hope you like it!
Thank you Michael for the great video. How about the pronunciation of the words "It+will" and "that+will"? I always hear Americans pronounce "that+will" in the sentence "that'll be fine" like "dadel". Could you please make a video about this and explain how to pronounce it correctly?
GOOD VIDEO THANKS COULD YOU MAKE ONE EXPLAINING THE PRONUNCIATION OF "THESE" LL. THIS "LL. THOSE"LL. AND SOMEBODY'S NAME AND LL. FOR EXAMPLE. BOB'LL. MICKE'LL. JOHN 'LL. MARTHA 'LL. ETC PLEASE
i have a hard time with the the natural pronunciation of "let him" and all others like it, instead of leh-Dim, i almost alway hear a really soft "r" instead of the "d" sound, something more like "leh-rim" and they practically sound the same, i just cant get used to pronnounce that "d" instead of the soft "r", happens to me all the time when i say connected words that are spoken that way :(

Great video!! How do native speakers pronounce the "d" in "I'd like to"? I can't hear the d sound when people say it.
Good question! You can't hear the D sound because it's not stressed.
I'm Brazilian and I studying english.
Thanks!

We usually pronounce you’ll as yill 👍

It surprised me to hear "hill", "shill", "thell" and so on. It is easier to pronounce.
