Gita knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive Gita from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
I love this. Because of a traffic accident I've been having trouble walking since I was a teenager and that's been a few decades now, this device could be a life changing helper for people like me. However, I already have to hide my phone when I'm outside, from the sort of people who see a woman walking with a stick and think "ah, you can't run, I can take your stuff and you can't fight back" (which in my case would be a misconception on their side, but not everybody is able to fight back like me). So my question to the developers is: could you please make this device so people with handicaps can easily use it, but without cowardly predator types being able to run off with it. I know it's heavy, but I can tell you for sure that where I live, someone would take a friend with him to steal it. People with handicaps have more trouble doing every day things that other people take for granted, like shopping for groceries, and it's so great if there's something like this to help, so we don't have to be dependent on other people. As someone who's been struggling doing every day things for over 25 years, I can tell you I'd rather depend on a robot to help me than a human being.
What a great product. In our case we could use it to carry our groceries from the garage up hill to our entrance door. I am just afraid it could be too expensive...
I think I like my walker better. I can get maybe 2 bags of groceries on it, and it helps a lot with back pain from walking. This thing doesn't help the pain and doesn't look like it could hold 2 grocery bags.
That was. Pretty vacant NY city. Picture a hundred of these in crowded city. It’s going to get ugly when these things start taking up space on the subway.
Marketing it for application in an urban environment seems ridiculous, especially if there would ever be hundreds of these bumping into each other. Seems more useful in an office/hospital setting.
Gita: “What is my purpose?”
Humans: “You carry my stuff.”
Gita: “Oh, God …”
When your inventory is full and you still want to get more loot this robot is for you.
Don't give EA that idea!
Lol
make it look like that robot with the blue eye from portal 2 and i will transfer all my life savings immediately
kezzaman shut up and take my money
With Wheatleys voice
Comments like this are love the Internet 😂
Is name is Wheatley right?
So its the start of an R2 unit?!!!!!!!
and people called me crazy.
Ambrose more like bb8
bb8 was a full ball that rolled to get around. this thing has 2 wheels to get around, leaning more to an R2 unit.
If everyone has a robot like this following around it’s going to get busy and messy
The way she addresses the robot, " C'mon Gita " I mean that was adorable
It really was.
Some of the best ideas are usually the simplest. This is awesome. I can see this helping a lot of people in different environments all over the world
People complaining about cost on such products need to realize how hard it is to create such a device.
Yep, they reinvented the "backpack"
A great assistant for the elderly. Great idea 💡
kinda afraid that random people will show up and just steal the robot...

thieves are going to be so happy about this...
Until they arm them.
Gita casually takes a knife out
" you take the robo, you get the stabbo"
Just got a job interview from the company, lol.
Jimmy Xie did u get the job?
@@mattxibarra3331 really curious
Jimmu what happened??? Job???
Couldn’t anyone just come up, pick it up and steal all your stuff? I would always be checking back to see if its following me
Wouldn’t it be really cool to make a bigger version that you can sit in when you are tired & also keeps you safe?
You mean a wheel chair? Lmao
This would an essential help for disabled people.

Somebody came up with the idea, hired employees, built specific machines, performed R&D, built the damn thing.
Did nobody ask "why" in the process?
When making friends is more expensive than buying a robot..........
if my friend ever asked me to join them on a shopping trip just so that i could carry their bags they wouldnt be my friend anymore
kezzaman so true, last time I checked, friend hasn't been the synonym of servant yet
when talking to robots makes you happy...
I can see this being useful for people with disabilities and the elderly with shopping, but how will it cope with curbs?
Interesting
@Bradley Mitchell he didnt think his question all the way through lol.....
@Bradley Mitchell lmfao
These ARE the droids I'm looking for.
ill wait for the drone version!
The future we live now~ QwQ so awesome~
damn, i can't wait to see the future!
rabble _rabble facts I wish my grandmother was here to see that
What a great product. In our case we could use it to carry our groceries from the garage up hill to our entrance door. I am just afraid it could be too expensive...
Bruh this video was made 4 years ago I want this and I hope it's way better now
so amazing
where is all that snow from yesterday?
I want my computer to follow me at work at my hospital. Pushing my wow is bad for my back
Bridget Cary is back
One day people are going to use this to carry around their small dog or child.
Need one
5 years before this is ready, it really should be developed to walk ahead of you as an option. Good start...
Flash forward to the year 2040 when people look back at this video like “oh god, how did people cope with those”
They should call it "Sherpa".
You could put a small toddler in it. Best to just put them in the microwave.
Its like how people thought Segway was the next big thing
So either this was shoot this past weekend or they really make sure y'all head quarters is sparkling clean after a massive snow storm
I love technology.
Over $3,000??? Yeah that's a nope from me dawg
I think I like my walker better. I can get maybe 2 bags of groceries on it, and it helps a lot with back pain from walking. This thing doesn't help the pain and doesn't look like it could hold 2 grocery bags.
My little BB-8
What is the inspiration for the name Gita?! 🤔
What the use if you live on second floor where is no elevator.
Wow, 6 years ago.
If we're using this, I seriously doubt we'll be carrying actual paper text books.
How does gita get up stairs?
wow this technology is the future
That was. Pretty vacant NY city. Picture a hundred of these in crowded city. It’s going to get ugly when these things start taking up space on the subway.
This video is old. You don’t need the belt anymore.
That robot useful but expensive
Wtf this was 5 years ago I just seen this on tiktok
It will probably cost $1,500-$3,000 if or when it comes out.
Gita? Jita? Vespa? I know for sure the one who made the robots like to play Eve Online a lot :)
Claptrap, that's your father
star wars storm trooper belt :D
better be no stairs!
Hold up...need to charge my bag!
So this thing is 5 years old
If battery🔋die , then ... that's right !-_-! You have to carry your marchandise and GITA ( 50 LB / 22.68 KG )
Cool it's a start
Might wanna re-think dat thumbnail. It doesn't paint the best picture for this awesome piece of tech.
Now just add a seat & a Place for a 6 pack & you got something.
Gita.....nah, that's a wish version off BB-8!
Holds 40 lbs... unlocked by fingerprints... I don’t think ‘40 pounds’ would fit in there.
Vegeta *IT'S OVER 9000!!*
Look how slow you got to walk
so chester from dst basically
What does she say at 2:07 ?
Can't the bot just follow a bluetooth paired smart phone?
They released a new one where it follows with sensors movement, height, and color now.
Short Circuit Johnny 5
It is not fantacy anymore
Do you have to strut like her
Why not just a bagpack? $5
So... its an expensive grocery bag/bicycle basket?
take this over bb8 any day or whatever it's name is from force awakens.
Cool
1:56 its all cracked and busted. greg lynn is a master at spending other peoples money on wacky joke projects.
How about walking at a regular pace? maybe running? cool :)
This is genius...
hope you can set on it when you're tired walking. lol
Add a gun and taser to it and you can find an available seat anywhere.
And then… home delivery appears!
Why not just create a manual version with a handle which you can just drag around. Would be much cheaper and also safer.
It sucks unless you can seat on it, then its dope
*STAIRS*
The main disadvantage is that it cannot climb the stairs and you need to take it up 🙄
Seems like you need to walk unnaturally slow for Gita to follow you properly. Is that right?
Nah I'm saving up for that triple-bypass I may need in a republican future.
I'm so ready to have something like that.
So hackers can drive your belongings to their door. Brilliant...for hackers. 🤦♀️
Not ready yet, work out the bugs first
Still early, but pretty cool concept.
+30 to carrying capacity.
Marketing it for application in an urban environment seems ridiculous, especially if there would ever be hundreds of these bumping into each other. Seems more useful in an office/hospital setting.
Italian technology 😅
Or you could just, you know, get a backpack
The belt looks like you're wearing underwear outside your pants. I'm into that.
Can u ...... u know * wink*
Why i always hear 'cheetah ' instead of 'gita'
Just buy a bag
Shut up and take my money 💰
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve lately.
