Probably a little late at this point and maybe there was something I missed but the v8 WJs take specific coolant and power steering pump fluid. The power steering fluid that jeep specifies is thinner and a pita to find, and it doesnt hurt the pump (the 4.0Ls use the exact same pump and regular fluid) but it does make your cooling fan run slightly slower, resulting in a bit higher temps. I don't use the mopar fluid in my jeep, either but thought id share.

Yep, it's in there and I talk about it a very small amount. The oriellys fluid claims to meet the specs of the 5391 or whatever the Mopar fluid is. I don't remember the number off top of my head right this moment. That said, who ever knows if they are telling the truth haha

I pulled an old assembly off my old engine. Shouldn't need a gasket if replacing the assembly
